We stayed here for 3 nights in May while we drove around Provence. The hotel setting is lovely...beautiful grounds, a pool, a terrace for breakfast. The staff is friendly, and the morning breakfast was well worth the 9 euros charge. Our room definitely needed refurbishing (worn shag carpet, worn towels and sheets), but it was clean, and we had a... More

Some parts of Provence can be quite expensive to visit. Quite exotic hotels and fancy prices. The Hotel l’Amandiere is a bit of a compromise. It is reasonably well located in St Remy, it provides reasonable accommodation and it is reasonably priced. Nothing special here, the rooms are small, bathrooms and separate toilet positively minuscule, but everything is reasonably clean... More

We elected to stay in St. Remy rather than in Arles, and it was a mistake. The hotel was very average, the carpet was stained in the room, the staff was not particularly friendly, and really, St. Remy is only worthy of a day trip from another location. However, the breakfast which they provided was excellent and made the stay... More

This hotel had a very nice breakfast room and terrace area. We enjoyed the breakfast and found the selection to be good and plentiful. The lounge and terrace were nice to relax in before dinner. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was not. The toilet was in a separate closet which was very small. It was also a bit... More

We had been traveling for nearly two months when we stayed at Hotel l'Amandiere and it was a much needed, peaceful place in Saint-Rémy. We had a lovely ground floor room with a door opening into the back gardens. We enjoyed the lounge chairs and our little table and chairs. They provide a lovely breakfast in a pretty garden terrace.... More

A good place to stay when visiting the area. Clean large enough rooms, comfortable we even had a little patio to ourselves. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. Plenty of off road parking in a quiet area of the suburb. Would definitely recommend if you are passing through.

It is about 1km from the actual village so make sure you're willing to walk or have a car. The rooms were fine, clean, so were the bathrooms. Breakfast for 8€ was average - rather eat breakfast elsewhere. If you're looking to just sleep here, it's a decent place to overnight. When we checked out they made a calculation error,... More

Booked this property and the good reviews definitely reflect the reality - this is a gorgeous property! It could easily be a 4 stars! Nice rooms, nice lobby decor, lovely swimming pool and amazing breakfast! This is highly recommended! (Only negative point is no A/C or fan in the rooms)

This is probably many people's dream Provencal hotel (though really a B+B). No restaurant but cold drinks are available any time. Small rooms, yes, but with mini balcony or terrace, and a lovely new walk-in shower room (separate lav). You could just totally relax here all day, on one of the loungers, by the pool, or picnic in the pretty... More

Nice hotel, suitable for exploring the sights of Provence. The hotel itself looks like your grandmas house in terms of decorations (little trinkets and knic knacks dispersed everywhere) but the rooms are fairly modern (warning they are carpeted). Each room has its own balcony which is a nice touch. The grounds them-self are sweet, everything in general could use a... More
