Me and my husband went to Hotel 96 on our honeymoon - and for starters we were greeted with a lovely note and some treats. The hotel grounds are lovely for enjoying, with plenty of grassy areas, seating, and lounging areas. The pool was lovely and clean, and had some shade for most of the day (very little at midday).... The magic of this place starts by being a small hotel that makes you fell at home, best breakfast in my trip in the south of France. Quiet place close to the Calanques.o Definitely a very good place to stay if you are travelling by car and want to see Marseille and the beatiful little towns nearby.

I have mixed reviews for this hotel. The rooms like everybody said are very spacious and nicely decorated. I personally did not like the bathroom because there was no door for the shower or the whole bathroom. The water was splashing all over the floor and I had to be careful adjusting the power of the shower. The swimming pool... More

Even with all the good reviews we were still pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the grounds and accomodation were for such a reasonable price. The overall ambience is so peaceful and very close to the national park as well as the city centre. The canyon hike was one of the best ever. Our room was spacious with a deck backing... More

Wow, what a fantastic hotel. Not what I expected when We drove through the gates. The location is certainly unusual and you need a car & sat nav to find it. The staff were so helpful. We we're given lots of assistance and advice for locations of interest and eating places. Our room was huge and very very nice. We... More

We were "winging it" and found ourselves in Cassis late in the day with no rooms available. As a last minute option, I called Hotel 96 for a room since they were a short distance away. Damian was amazing, even though their front desk was to close in 30 min, he would wait for us. Then, one wrong turn and... More

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the property. We found that this location (once we found it!) to be a great for exploring the surrounding areas. It was a short drive to restaurants, but there was a lot of choice in Marseille for eating. It was exceptionally busy in August and hard to find parking in... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of August and can't recommend it enough. The room was decorated beautifully and had been cleaned to a very high standard. All of the staff in the hotel were friendly and welcoming and we were offered excellent advice about places to visit and the best ways to get around... More

After a trip along the coast of Southern France, Marseille was a definite let down, but this hotel made us feel like we were still in St. Tropez! It was a little hard to find, but with the help of GPS we eventually arrived at the gates. The surrounding area is a little bit dull and we didn't know what... More

Yes it's out in the sticks a bit - but it really is a lovely place to stay - and there's parking. Very quiet surroundings in this suburb of Marseille. Relaxed atmosphere, lovely gardens and pool, clean decent sized rooms ( which have a little fridge in - useful), a good nights sleep and then a great breakfast in the... More
