The Mariette Pacha chose itself for us, there was very little availability in MRS the weekend we rocked up. The positives are that the location is good. A nice 15 minute walk and your in the middle of the Vieux Port area or there is a bus that runs from VP to very close to the hotel. The rooms are... More

Small rooms, not especially clean. Reception manager forgot how important the clients are and same with some of the staff.... Good isolation (new windows) but in all not good value for the money - chose another hotel!!!

This is definetly worst place I've ever slept, and I have visited a lot of hotels. I'm pretty sure that, not so long ago, it was one of those places where you can "rent a room by the hour". So much mold smell on one place I have never seen. Only reason why I hav stayed there, was do to... More

Nice little hotel in good location. Nice and friendly staff. Be aware of additional charge for Bfast. Overall a good place to stay for a couple of days if your expactations are not the biggest.

We arrived at the hotel very late on Sept 11, therefore, it would have really been Sept 12. We said that we wanted to pay for our room for both nights at that point so we would have to worry about it. Our confirmation stated it was 170 euro (85/night) for 2 nights but we were charged 172.18 euro (86.09/night)... More

This hotel provided my partner and I with wonderful accommodation in Marseille, very convinient to public transport and walking distance to the coastline and the beach. Welcomed warmly by the staff, we easily checked in before the advertised check in time and were shown a good sized double room with ensuit. Facing the street we were plesently surprised by the... This was a very disappointing experience. Having looked at the Hotel website and seeing lovely fresh bedrooms and reading that there was air conditioning and sound proofing throughout. This together with the advertising of "copious breakfast" persuaded us to stay there. The copious breakfast was a piece of bread and a croissant. We never saw the lovely rooms advertised and... We just spend 4 nights in this small family hotel. The owners are very helpfull and give you lots of good tips (they speak english)! They have different rooms for different prices. The smallest room is a bit to small but the classic and the bigger rooms with bath are really excellent! Also a big plus is the location. It... More
