Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and was quite happy with the room. Marvellous view from the window of the harbour. Bed was ok and the bathroom was really quite spectacular! Little noisy at night...I suggest you buy some ear plugs. Probably the best investment i made whilst travelling. Ensures a good nights sleep no matter what! Restaurants all... more

This hotel is in the perfect location for visiting Marseille on holiday. Its upstairs with a lift only from 2nd level upwards. Rooms facing the courtyard are poky and claustrophobic; those facing the harbour have a wonderful view. Traffic noise is an issue because air-conditioning is not functional before summer, so opening the window is necessary on warmer days. Friendly... more

I don't understand why this hotel has such great reviews, it was fairly expensive compared to many 2 star hotels Ive stayed in during my holidays. Its location was of course superb, when I arrived and for the days I was staying there it was getting a make over, so painters everywhere. It would be normal procedure to offer guests... more

Fab place, had all the mod cons you'd expect but not expensive. Perfect location, overlooking the harbour and close to restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. Didn't eat there, but didn't need to as soooo many choices locally for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was very clean, friendly staff and you could easily come and go as you please. more

We stayed here 1 day. 101 EUROS / day for 2 adults and 1 child (12 years old). Reception friendly. No major problem with bathroom. In front of the View Port. We did not have breakfast in hotel (8 EUROS/ pers/day). Shops, restaurants and bars near. No parking. You need to use the Public Parc (9 Euros / 24 h).... more

very warm and friendly staff at reception. Although the front door is very hidden amongst the other building, as soon as you get in , the hotel is warm and spacious. An unusal glass lift takes you up to a very pleasant room with windows opening on a small balcony overlooking the Old harbour. The staff is definitively the best... more

Pretty much as expected - expensive, small rooms, great location, friendly helpful staff. Would go there again (despite the cost), but then you are paying for the view over the Old Port. Here's a view from our room... more

Stayed overnight in this hotel upon our arrival in Provence. Woke up to a lovely view of the harbor after a quiet nights sleep on a comfortable bed in an air conditioned room. The room was average european hotel size and attractively appointed. Staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is a short block from the metro station and the... more

This little hotel is a real surprise! Located by the Old Port, this is where you want to be! Lots of cafes and food just outside the hotel. If you wish to explore the city, just take the metro (just 5 minutes away). With all the hustle-and bustle, the hotel rooms are quite. The hotel room we had is quite... more

The hotel room on the Venere website is nicer than the one we got. They are in the small side and the beds are a little hard. But the location is perfect, they are clean and the service is friendly. Good hair dryer. We opted for just coffee in the morning at a reasonable 1.50 per cup. Do not recommend... more
