It is a basic hotel with just basic things/needs: hot shower with enough water, clean bed, good location and a tv with hd channels. Wifi works perfect! Don't go here if you like a luxury feel and spa facilities. One advice ask for a room at the back of the hotel!

For a single night, in a fairly central location, it provides a clean and comfortable place to stay with no frills at all. Room is just adequate in size, good Wi-Fi connection, TV which we didn't use. Liquid soap from a dispenser means they are saving thousands of euros on all those little half-used tablets which get thrown away. Reception... More

The hotel location is good, in the district of La Joliette: from here you can take the metro, the tram, or get to the Vieux Port (old harbor), passing the old town (Le Panier) or along the harbor. The rooms, like all the hotels in this chain that I've tried, are clean and comfortable, with no frills but with everything... More

Dont bother asking reception about the area nobody seems to know where anything is! they didnt even know where the tourist information was and there where no maps on reception for three days. I did read this before I booked but honestly I think they have been told not to give any info out very strange how they have no... More

It is a nice hotel offering basic rooms although the one I got was nothing like on their website. The price I paid was low and the location of the place was great. 10 min walk to Vieux Port, tram and Metro just outside the hotel and it was a 15 min walk from St Charles. The room was clean... More

I booked a two nights’ stay at a BB Hotel in Marseille. I paid for the hotel using BB hotel’s website under a special offer (no cancellation or changes). I understood this, but did not consider that SNCF employees were going to have a strike. I contacted the hotel a couple of days before the strike to see if I... More

We got what we paid for with this hotel. On a last minute trip to Marseille, we decided to spend our money on bouillabaisse rather than lodging. It's more like a dorm room with no decor, but the bed wasn't terrible and the room was generally clean. It's not in the best area, but it's less than a minute walk... More

I made a reservation at this hotel for one night for 2 rooms and stayed there because we were taking a cruise from Marseille the next day. They couldn’t find my reservations then told me that I cancelled my reservation!! I NEVER cancelled my reservations. Then they said that they only had ONE room that 2 couples had to share!!... More

B&B La Joliette is a very new budget hotel in the Euromediterranee Area, the area used to be derelict harbour buildings but has undergone a massive reconstruction in the last ten years and is now a bright quarter with many conference and concertvenues. The old port and the St Charles TGV-station are still within walking distance, but public transport in... More

A French friend recommended me this BB inn, so I didnt bother to search around. The room is very basic, simple and small, as expected. Fortunately, its clean too, shower worked well. Do not expect mush as for the price you pay. Location is actually not bad at all, 2 metro stops to train station, and easy transfer from metro... More
