Room was fantastic. So was the restaurant (see separate review) Re the service at the hotel and friendliness of the staff: Extremely disappointed. In short: For the money you pay, you'll definitely be disappointed at least once. After an 11 hour journey we arrived around noon at the hotel. Receptionist was simply unfriendly and instead of saying anything nice, she... More

I love this little hotel tucked away in cliffs next to the Ocean. Wonderful Rooms, super friendly Staff - a little Oasis yo recharge your batteries. If you go please make sure to reserve a table in the hotel restaurant, truly one of the best in France. Cant wait go come back.

Someone (friend of a friend) who lives in Marseilles told me that Petit Nice Passedat is the best hotel in Marseilles -- she was right! It has the feel and grace of a personal home. The Petit Nice Passedat website description is fully accurate - the fresh design , including furniture, lighting, interior walls, curtains, and windows are a treat... More

It is a true gem in the middle of the heart of Marseille - located just on the shores with a breath taking view. The room we had, called Pomegues, was quiet, dark, AC-cooled, soft beds and pillows (not usual around the Mediterranean sea), spaceous and well kept. We'd Love to stay for longer than one day because we were... More

Simply beautiful, the minute you walk in, an island of beauty, our suite Fanny, full of light, smell of soft sea and fresh linen, all white and beige...the terrace huge and inviting overlooking the magnificent sea...the rockscape is as inviting as the sea salt swimming pool. Great service and smile everywhere you go on the boutique property. The food, on... More

My wife and I chose Petit Nice Passedat at the last minute. We like Relais and Chateaux hotels and have stayed at a few; first class service, heavenly food and a wonderful location come as standard. We had driven from London two weeks before and we are totally accustomed to driving in France. Then we drove through Marseilles; beware it's... More

The hotel was our last night booked on our way back home from France, it turned out to be a lovely boutique hotel with charming service and views. The pool with its view was a delight and the food was delicious. Had I known how delightful this little hotel was I would have stayed longer.

Beautiful setting. Cute and quirky. But nothing worked. We had a so called suite. Neither of the tv's worked. The bulbs were mostly burned out. One of the two phones was out. The bathtub faucets only worked on the spray part. Almost comical. And $850 a night. The setting is great. But the hotel is ...diladated. It's trendy and boutiqey... More

The hotel boast five stars but it is awful. First you follow the graffitied signs to the parking. Then a 85 lb weakling looks at your luggage in the trunk and sighs. You feel like you are in a 60's James Bond movie. It took five doors and three key swabs to get to my room. The decor is beyond dated.... More
