Pro: Hotel is located 12 minutes walk to Train centrale station... otherwise hotel isn't worth it. Rooms itself is decent, but the area well the hotel is located isn't the safest nor the best regarded in Marseille. One day i was walking from hotel to metro ( 2 minutes walk ) to go to Velodrome and I saw some people... More

We stayed in this hotel, and it was the worst hotel of a 7 week trip. Receptions staff were absolutely great and very helpful, but thats was it.On the second night there, just outside the glass doors, right in front of the reception, which had a security guard inside, I was attacked by someone trying to snatch my handbag. Looking for a cheap bed for 4 nights close to the station and the town centre and found it here. Yes it does border a rather seedy area but the subway outside the door will get you anywhere quickly and it is only a few minutes walk to the town centre. I took the cheapest "studio" room, with sofa bed.... More

I cant believe this place has such good reviews on Tripadvisor. I really have to say, I was not impressed at all. Firstly, the location ... its in a pretty run down part of Marseille and I didnt really feel too safe in the evening. OK during the day though ... just watch for the pickpockets! However, you only have... More

The hotel is very good, It's highly recommended for Marseille. The metro station is just outside the hotel. The neighbourhood and the centre of Marseilles should be avoided. You can't image something like this until you see it with your eyes. Its a big Ghetto ! The worst neighbourhoods in Bucharest can't compare with centre Marseilles. There is no problem... More

If you are going to Marseille, the location of your hotel is very important as there are a lot of dodgy neighbourhoods and you need to stay in a good one. I would recommend staying anywhere actually in Vieux Port, (not near it as this hotel's description states.) and on the right side of Vieux Port, anywhere near Notre Dame... More

Room was clean and functional for four people with a useable kitchenette and separate toilet. Hairdryer and toaster were available on request, although there was no mention of them in the room so it was up to you to ask. Single beds were good, however the double sofa bed was not at all comfortable for two. Reception was also helpful,... More

Hotel was as represented via trip advisor. Rooms clean, nice having a kitchenette . The location is good for seeing the port and museum. Need to be careful at night but hotel is locked up after 20:00. Down fall of hotel is that the Internet works only in the lobby and they are using an old protacol so some US... More

When looking for a place to stay for my 3 night stay in Marseille, i wanted a place that was reasonably cheap, clean and within walking distance from a metro station as well as the port. This hotel met those conditions therefore i have no complaints. It's a 10 minute walk from St Charles bus/train station and about 5-10 to... More

I checked out earier than planned from this horrible place owing to the disgusting smell of urine in both lifts which was not sorted out after complaints being made, the staff at this place all have a 'we cant do anything' attitude (typical for this city, which is the dirtiest in Europe and has a Rat problem). Soiled carpets and... More
