The hotel is located a stone's throw from the old port and the city's main thoroughfares. Unfortunately after dark the area seems slightly less salubrious and travellers will be advised to walk with caution. We stayed there for one night in September of 2012. At that time hotel was under renovation. The bathroom was updated and clean. Frond desk staff was good.
