Really a great opportunity to stay in a beautiful design artefact. The staff are helpful and easy going- do not expect a modern slick hotel, this is all about the simple ease. The hotel is set out of the centre of marseille the views over the city are incredible. It is an amazing place to have a drink for the... More

Having been brought up in a Corbsier-inspired house, and made an in-depth study of his architecture at Uni, I was eager to stay here (L'Unite D'Habitation/Ville Radiuse 1952). The "hotel" is not a hotel in the usual sense, but a series of "apartments" owned by the Restaurant owners. Corbusier's design features "apartments" in 15 designs from one small room for... More

Well, we stayed at the hotel in 2012. Our room was prepaid through a website, my husband checked-in and everything was ok, I joined him couple of days later and then the troubles happened. The condition was far from my idea of cleanliness, there was some unpleasant smell in the bathroom. That evening we had no hot water in the... More

The atmosphere of this hotel it is a nice experience. The hotel is formed only from some rooms scattered around the Unité d'habitation, in between apartments, offices, shops and a school. The rooms furnitures, thewindows and door frames, the whole place give you the incredible feeling of Le Corbusier original vision.

The hotel offers you the chance to imagine what it would be like to live in a Le corbusier-designed apartment. While some interior details have of course been updated since 1953, the overall effect is quite original. You can feel the special treatment of color and concrete from the time you drive up under the building to the detailing of... More

I loved the experience, because this is what is all about! We stayed in a room with park view: spacious, very interesting, cool. This hotel/building makes you really appreciate Le Corbusier social vision. So clever. Get bus n.21 from Castellane (just outside the metro) and get off at bus stop Le Corbusier. A bit far from the town centre but... More

Setting it up on the internet: easy and heard back personally from the owners. Welcome when I got there: great and one of the owners took me personally to the room and showed me how it worked and how to access the roof at any time. Dinner: one of the best I've ever eaten. Not just me but everyone at... More

i stayed one night at the hotel because I was intrigued by the concept - a Le Corbusier hotel squeezed into three stories of one his most famous buildings. The owner who dealt with my check in gave me the impression he was harried and over-worked which doesnt make the weary traveller feel at ease. He shuttled between the bar... More

It could be a great experience to stay in an iconic masterpiece of modern architecture; but: the rooms are dirty and with bad smell, the maintenance is poor (expecially bathroom and doors), and - most of all - the service personnel is rude and irritating. So, skip this hotel and visit the building during the day as a tourist.

Dirty room with old furniture and non-functioning air conditioning. When we complained, we were rudely brushed aside ("I'll get to it when I have time...") I don't normally write reviews but in this case I feel motivated to encourage you to spend your money elsewhere. Worst hotel experience ever.
