N43°17.041' E5°23.113' Hôtel Lutia is in a nice area with a street market in front, just of underground station Castellane, a short ride with Metro 1 or 2 from train station Gare St. Charles. From the old port, it takes a 15-minute walk. Our room number 5 in April 2015 on the second floor in the back of the hotel... More

The hallway is very tired but from first floor up it got better. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Yes, the bed was comfy and the linen crisp, but the room itself was very basic and tired. There was not even a bedside table or shelf. The tiled floor was definitely "tacky" underfoot - sorry but not one for... More

We stayed at the hotel in January 2015, 4 adults in a Quad room. We dove fro Nice to Marseile, the owner has 1 car parking stop at the side of the hotel and gave us the spot during our stay, which was very convenient. The hotel is very well priced, decor on he older side, no elevator so you... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip in france. We payed 80 euros per night and it was summer with a lot of tourists! Nice and clean room, enormous bathroom and ideal position very close to the metro station and the centre. Breakfast was perfect and the guys in reception very friendly (they offered us breakfast because of... More

I used to live in Marseille, and picked this hotel expressly because of its perfect location - within walking distance of the Vieux Port, in a good neighborhood, with a great street market right in front. The hotel is a walk up, so be warned if you are on the 3rd floor. I had a spacious room at the top... More

We stayed here for two nights and will remember it for the kindness of the owner who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and help us with our stay in Marseilles. We found the room very clean and of a decent standard for the price, no en-suite toilet but the shower was good, we also had use... More

My wife and stayed here for one night during September. The location if the hotel isn't that great. Although there is a metro station about a 3-4 min walk away, it's pretty far from the port (30 min walk) and the nicer shopping streets (20 min walk). Also, the location feels a bit sleazy and unsafe (we could hear drunk... More

We booked a superior room at the Hotel Lutia and got a large bedroom, simply furnished with a very large bathroom, an extremely comfy bed with nice bed linen and a remote control fan which kept us cool enough. The room was spotlessly clean with the added advantage of a fridge. The hotel is in a great location. Ideal for... More

I booked here a room for 2. Now there is a misconception about this place that I want to clarify. I booked the room based on reviews that the rooms were large with large bathroom. NOT TRUE. "SOME" rooms are large with ample space and a overly large bathroom. There are other rooms that are verry small, with a tiny... More

We stayed here for 3nights and found it to be very clean with comfortable beds, plenty hot water and helpful owners, Phillipe and William. It is perfectly situated for walking to the port and Notre Dame. There are nice restaurants close by and a lovely patisserie plus a small supermarket across the street. Hope you enjoy your stay as much... More
