We have been at Le Mas des Etoiles for our honey moon!! And it was a perfect place! The location is perfect, the hotel is very good, comfortable, cosy, and the breakfast is wonderful! Francois and Annette are very kind as well! They helped us to know where to go and gave us very good advice! It was very nice... More

We loved Mas des Etoiles, and the warmth, humour, and hospitality of the owners. It is a very central location for exploring classic Provence and Francois' knowledge and advice was invaluable.Living in a similar farmhouse in Somerset (without the delicious cherries and the home-grown rose wine ! ) we felt we had a lot in common with Francois and Annette, and... We have just had 3 relaxing nights staying at this charming B and B. The farmhouse has been decorated so beautifully and it has this warm, welcoming feel about it. Our room was large with everything we needed with doors leading outside to a private area where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. We were served a delicious... More

+ “Francois and Annette were the perfect host and hostess. Francois helped me plan our time in Provence with sightseeing tips, dinner reservations etc. He even gave us a private tour of his beautiful property. Annette always engaged us in scintillating conversation and was so warm and caring. She even had a great home remedy for my wife's gout. The... More

Amazing traditional farm house (with all modern amenities) to get the full experience of Provence. The owners make you feel at home and help you make the most of your stay by providing local advice and tips. Fantastic breakfast with local products and great rose wine in the evening by the swimming pool. Exceeded our expectations. Would definitely go back.

Sunshine, flowers, the smell of herbs, gentle breezes, cicadas, blue sky fading to yellows and pinks, mountain views, quiet, twinkling stars and bathing moonlight … oh yes, and Francois and Annette were wonderful and very accommodating. The pool was fabulous, too. In other words, you'd have to be cracked out crazy to find much wrong here. Our stay was the... More

My mother and I had a lovely time here. Madame and monsieur are so extremely friendly they make you feel immediately welcomed or perhaps even like a member of the family. Especially after you've stayed a few days and madame says "you are like my daughter now, so open this jar!" We laughed the entire time we were with them.... More

This was our second visit to the Luberon region. We enjoyed our first visit so much we decided to return 2 years later. We chose Le Mas des Etoiles based on Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. We spent 4 nights in the Bird's Room. The accommodations were lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Think twice before making your choice for a B and B !You are going to enjoy our “Chambres d’hôtes de charme”. Gordes is real great place to approach the Luberon Regional Park and most of Provence. For you, we have made it cool: Luxury and still casual. Now it can be classified as a Boutique Hotel. The house itself is stunning : Unique old white stones, a typical Provence garden with all kinds of Mediterranean plants and large views. Of course, the property is in a quiet environment. But it is close from restaurants etc … Decoration is stylish and imaginative, not cold-contemporary as often offered now. Annette has a taste for it. Everything is in tones in pastel, grey and light brown. Comfort is at a high level : Of course a soft air conditioning everywhere, a fair speed WIFi, a salted 12 X 5 swimming pool and many kinds of delicacies. And from 2013, a Pitch and Putt 9 holes golf course just here. ... more   less
