My friend and I just returned from a week at Les Bastidons. The reservation was made for a small group by the tour guide. We were all surprised at our bare bones accommodations. I assume the cheap rates were the reason for this choice as they certainly enhanced the profit. The suite was clean but was damp and musty and smelled of mildew. A request had to be made for a replinishment of toilet paper. Two plastic cups were provided in the bathroom for the entire week. The towels were almost threadbare. Although the continental breakfast was nice, it was boring--bread, corn flakes, juice, coffee or tea was presented every morning with no variation. On the plus side, the suite was roomy and the beds were comfortable. If you're looking for cheap rates and no frills, Les Bastidons is OK, but my friend and I are just not used to camping. more
