Not only was the food terrible, but the staff and owner were awful. My husband and I ordered the same thing - mussels. What we got was two different, but equally horrible versions of one of our favorite foods. When I politely asked in French how we could avoid this white sauce in the future, the waitress started yelling at... More

Situated with an excellent view of the main square of the lovely hilltop town of Gordes, in an area packed with excellent restaurants, we thought we would have a hearty traditional Provençal meal. What a disappointment! After waiting ages to give our order, the kitchen produced a gigantic bowl of lettuce leaves, without dressing, topped with three stale pieces of... More

Well placed in the centre of gordes. The service s slow and bordering on the disinterested. The food was dreadful. School dinners come to mind. Large portions if that is all you want. I guarantee you will not finish it even if you starving. Many many other better restaurants in gordes for the same price!! Avoid and don't all into... More

Centrally located you cannot miss this restaurant. Even on a hot day they manage to keep the terrace cool by spraying water damp. We loved it so much that we stayed even after the restaurant closed to prepare for diner. The lunch and drinks were average.

My husband and I ate here as the restaurant we had booked had shut due to a fault that evening. It was very busy but they managed to squeeze us in. Lucky, we thought. They sat us on a table right by the door, but that's fine, we were happy to find somewhere. We ordered two soups, one fish, one... More

What a find, everything I look for in a place to stay, no fuss or pretence, but everything you would need. Gordes is a stunning hilltop town. Our room had a view over the square and Chateau. The rates were exceptionally good. We dined in the restaurant. The food was good. They have a wood fired pizza oven and sadly... More

After driving for hours around the countryside, sat down to one of the best meals we had in Provence at this lovely little place smack in the middle of the village. Was served by a friendly, smiling lady who helped us pick out our choices. Service was fairly quick for such a busy restaurant and the food did not disappoint.... More

While visiting Gordes, you will easily spot this place, as I did. It is located in the main square and it boasted a board announcing plat du jour as moules et frites. Since this is one of my favorites, I ventured in and seated. When I was ready to order (after a lot of wait), the waitress (who didn't understand... More

My husband & I stopped for a expresso, cafe latte and homemade apple pie at the restaurant which is located in the center of Gordes. They have a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was good. The apple pie a la mode was a very large portion & delicious. The French do know how to make their sweets.
