Stayed here on Offa's Dyke Trail. Owners could not have been more friendly, tea and cake on arrival, lift to a cash machine and pub for dinner and back again. Very clean room and they were happy for us to make tea and take up to our room. Great breakfast then lift back up to the trail. Couldn't have asked... More

Touring the length of Offa's Dyke trail, we chanced upon this jewel in tiny Bodfari. Our two-night stay at Glan Clwyd Isa was, hands down, our favorite two nights of the two weeks we were there. Hugh, our host, could not have been more charming and accommodating, and the setting was absolutely gorgeous (Hugh mentioned that he'd had a career... More

Stayed for a night with my brother and my dog as part of the Offa's Dyke trail. Owners could not have been more helpful or friendly. Breakfast was generous and a perfect start to the day. Wonderful accommodation (spotless and extremely high standard) set in a picture postcard location. Visit if you can

1 star for friendliness, 1 star for an excellent breakfast. No stars for no signage to the place, not even the house name on the gate or the house. Wandered thru the house twice calling out before they finally heard me - out back drinking. Offered me a G & T (nice but unusual). No key for the room. Cramped... More

Well I could not resist responding, Many thanks for the 2 stars given for breakfast and friendliness... I’m sorry the rest was a disappointment, including the location which seems strange To put things in to context you arrived from your walk at 8.30pm at night by car looking very fetching in your kilt, while we were enjoying the summer evening... Nice cottage in two floors with the breakfast brought out to you. The hosts were helpful, friendly and made us al prepared for the experience. After a full tour in the cottage we were left in Peace to enjoy the large breakfast/lounge area and an upper bedroom with adjacent bathroom. Really nice and tranquil, with exotic hens guarding the front... More

We walked to Glan Clywd Isa as we had arrived at Bodfari quite early. We were welcomed by Linda who provided us with tea and cake. It is obviously a very popular place to stay as they were very busy with people visiting for a wedding. Although we had booked a twin room, Linda had provided us with a room... More

Lovely setting for the B&B. Linda & Hugh were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, they came to pick us up at the cross roads, took us out to the pub for dinner & collected us again which was really kind of them. Breakfast around the large farmhouse kitchen table was a sociable experience with lots of choices. They took us... More

Stayed here on our last night of our offa's dyke walk, the host's Linda and Hugh were extremely polite and helpful, especially running us to the local pub for our evening meal. A remote and quite B & B set down the end of a country lane, very peaceful and comfortable for a good nights sleep. on arrival Linda greeted... More
