The first impression of the "hotel" is very charming, the premises being located in the central square of the ancient bastide of Valbonne lending a distinctly romantic ambience to the place. However be advised that you'll need to arrive at the hotel before noon if you plan to leave your luggage at the door of the hotel with your car,... more

Our room in this lovely little hotel opened onto the square, where we were treated to an evening festival and awoke to market day. The proprietors were extremely helpful to us and breakfast on the square was very good. Parking wasn't a problem, we parked at a space not far from the hotel--there's plenty around. The room was fine. Yes,... more

We couldn't have asked for a better location - right on the main square (fine in off season but looks as if it could be very noisy in the high season). We booked for 6 nights based on the information that there were 20 restaurants in the town (there were) and we only had one slightly disappointing dinner. Parking was... more

I've stayed at this hotel for a recent business trip. I hadn't been here in years. The rooms vary a bit, so make sure you get one of the larger ones. The hotel is old and hasn't been renovated in some time, but it is very clean, and the location can not be beat. Please note there is no parking... more

Stayed here last month for 2 nights on the way from Nice to St Tropez via St Paul & Valbonne. The village is a gem - set out in a grid in the middle ages with loads of neat little shops, restaurants & bars, a good squarewith a busy market & lots to see for at least a day. The... more

I was in Valbonne for 2 weeks with business and had the pleasure of staying in the Hotel Les Armoiries. This was a totally different kind of hotel than I am used to staying in. It is situtated right in the town square amoung beautiful restaurants and shops. The hotel is small and quirky with no two rooms the same.... more

We stayed for a week in the Hotel les Armoiries at the end of April. The weather was wonderful, and we used the hotel as a base for exploring the neighbouring villages. We had a car, but during the week there are plenty of buses going to many of the places we liked. The village of Valbonne is charming and... more

Valbonne is an an extremely charming French market village in Cote D'Azur. Les Armoiries is smack in the middle of this village, right on the central square. The village itself has narrow streets and no cars, an inspiration for those who want to walk. There is ample parking just outside the village (about a 300 meter walk). It's a wonderful... more

IIf you want to stay in the center of Valbonne, which is charming, and walk back from its many lovely restaurants, it is the right choice providing you book a second or third-tier room. Les Armoiries' lowest price rooms are not three-star level. There were many things that didn't work in our second-tier room to which we moved, but they... more

About 15 miles north of Cannes is the splendid old town of Valbonne. Bordering the delightful town square is the Hotel les Armoiries with a history dating to the 17th century. The small but well appointed rooms give out onto beautiful, narrow, colorful streets and a central square with shops and restuarants. Nearby Valbonne are the beautifully preserved Alpes Maritimes... more
