My family and I stayed here for 3 days on our way back to Zurich from Provence. We used this as our "home base" to go to Cannes, Nice, Antibes, and Monaco (but would be a perfect spot to go anywhere in the French Riviera). It is conveniently located to downtown where there are good restaurants (our personal favorite is... More

When working in Sophia-Antipolis, you could stay in the traditional business hotels (i.e. Mercure, Novotel, etc.), but why not go for something more charming like the Bastide? Aside from the AC which wasn't working the first night, I had a totally enjoyable stay there and in a great location to access Sophia (and everything else in the region). The place... More

I'm a usual guest of this nice and warm hotel, located on the surrounding hills around Nice, almost same distance from both Nice and Cannes, it offers to me whatever I need while traveling for Job in this wonderful area. Family owned or at least managed it provides the typical French "charme" and a great service. Clean and well kept... More

A wonderful Provencal hotel, accommodating and great service. The Bastide is a nice place to spend a couple of days, away from other, busier places. Very nice and proper, and a cozy pool area that also doubles as a lounge for breakfast and evening drinks. The breakfast buffet is a perfect way to start the day. Three minutes away from... More

Great place, very homey. Owner is fantastic and very serviceminded. Everything is wellkept and clean. Breakfastbuffet is served in the morning with everything you need. They bake their own bread and croissants by the way. This weekend a huge weddingparty stayed here with everybody chilling by the pool drinking rose. Great ambience, just love it here. ☀️☀️☀️

La Bastide de Valbonne is a family run hotel, with the charme of Southern France. A nice garden and pool. The breakfast is ample and the owners are happy to address your special requests. Very friendly staff that is really trying to help. I go there since more than 10 years, on my business trips, after being tired of the... More

The hotel may not be decorated to my taste (a bit too much pseudo-Tuscany kitcsh) but it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room was reasonably quiet - just the noise from the corridor of people leaving early in the morning - the breakfast was perfect (nothing hot but good quality and a nice selection) and the... I liked this hotel a lot, firstly because of its "provence style", everything inside, furniture, decoration was nice. And secondly - it is not the most luxurious hotel, but its staff is better than in some 5 star hotels i´ve been. We ordered a room service, and it was too late, a girl on a reception desk has informed us... More

Nice hotel, just refurbished from and old French country home, small pool, very close to the city centre of Valbonne. Nice for couples or people looking for a quite place, also for business if you need a plce in the area. Ample parking spaces. Only problem I had was finding it! there is no sign, well one on the mailbox... More

A serene, well maintained place, sitting outside the Valbonne village it has some elegant rooms with nice comfortable beds with porches opening out to the pool (RM # 112). The breakfast contains some amazing fresh breads and cheese. The people are really nice, close to Cannes and Grasse. Only thing missing is that they don't have a restaurant and you... More
