Stayed at Le Mas Des Cigales for one night and was welcomed by Stefan and his wife who made us feel extremely welcome. There was a mistake with our booking which was not caused by the current owners and they just solved it for us by making sure we had a location to spend our two nights without noticing any difference in staying in the regular rooms.... Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, lovely outside seating area with a pool and views down to the sea, nice breakfast, welcoming owners. The town centre is about a 20 minute walk down quiet back-streets and there are some nice restaurants.

We spent one long weekend while travelling in the region as the result of a Lonely Planet recommendation. We wanted to stay there to avoid the hustle and bustle of the beach while being able to check out the area. We were very happy with the hotel and thought it offered a great price-quality in an expensive region.

Stayed only 1 night prior to flying out of the Nice airport (1/2 hour drive away). Room and bathroom very clean, but maybe the matress was a tad worn out. Perhaps a refresh of the bed spread and throw pillows is due also. Great location up in the hills overlooking the distant coast - nice view, especially from the pool... More
