Chateau de la Messardiere was a true gem. We were seeking a beautiful location with vegetation and views, not directly on the water because we prefer to pay for amenities, comfort, and services rather than simply be next to sand, and we were traveling in a shoulder season. Messardiere has a spectacular location with gorgeous grounds and water views, and... More

Dear George We love your way of talking about this amazing gem. It is a cocoon placed on a hill between earth and sky. You feel protected and far from the noise and with our shuttles the mood of Saint-Tropez is not far !!! Thank you for your feedback and we are looking forward to welcoming you again with pleasure.... WOW - and then WOW, this hotel is STUNNING! The property is pristine and the service is a 10+! We only stayed one night as we were on a road trip through the french rivera. But we talked about coming back for a week - maybe even this September. The views from all sides of the hotel are amazing. The... More

Had a great one night in this hotel. The rooms are pretty small, but comfortable and the showers are great. The setting is fantastic, with nice views over the surrounding hills. Limited views over the ocean though. Even though a little outside of town, they have a shuttle van which takes you in and out of town any day or... More

If you have a budget, this is not your spot. It is expensive. The rooms and the meals. But it is a great hotel and experience. The rooms are comfortable but small, the service excellent, the views from the restaurant great.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my partner and we unanimously agreed that the rooms were very dated with old furniture and horrible decor. Terrible lighting and a very small space for the price. We paid for a upgrade and still found this to be average. The hotel has lovely grounds and the staff are friendly enough. However... More

We stayed four nights at La Messardière at the beginning of September in a superior room, which was in one of the towers by the swimming pool. The room was not huge but spacious enough, the bathroom was great with two sinks, quite a big shower cabin and a separate bath tub; it was meticulously clean as was the rest... More

We stayed here for 10 nights in September 2014, and it was our first visit to St Tropez. The hotel is amazing. The rooms are clean, spacious and continually serviced both morning and night. The pool area is fantastic with many sunbeds available all around the pool. The staff are all exceptional. We could not fault them at all. Always... More

The hotel is beautifully located atop a hill with wonderful views. The staff made every effort to make us feel welcome , many remembering our name and always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a great experience for quality food and service. A free shuttle down to St.Tropez day and night is an added and welcome bonus. We have no... More

Gorgeous hotel but transport needed to go beach or town. Shame they didn't have their own private area on the beach. Restaurant slightly disappointing and lunch time menu uninspiring. We arrived at the port but altho the hotel offered a free navette service 24 hrs a day they were not willing to come to the port to collect us. Very... More
