It is indeed worth visiting but I recommend low season you can save 70% of your expenses. It is a very nice romantic setting. Recommended for couples, retreat , weddings, more. A nice less expensive version is villa Cedri on Lago Di Garda Italy, I would go there any time for 1/3 of the price of hotel M.

Positives: 1. La Messardiere has the most beautiful breakfast location that I have ever experienced. I sat there in awe every morning, enjoying the spectacular bay and rolling hillside that surround the hotel. 2. The pool is a wonderful place to hang out with adults or with the kids. Views and perfect sun exposure all day long. In the evening,... More

Everything was just exceptional: location, views, landscape, room, swimming pool, food but most importantly very friendly and professional staff, and excellent service. Thank you very much for the great time we spent at Chateau de la Messardiere. We will be back very soon.

We are spoiled travelers. Plus we travel with our 2 year old girl. Plus we don't like big hotels too much... But, we give it from time to time a try... Honestly, I thought first before we arrived at the Château de la Messardiere: Ok, Saint Tropez and this Château. They probably are spoiled themselves as St. Tropez is where... More

All the positive reviews can't go wrong about this place. It is simply amazing. Located on a hill in a quiet area away from st. Tropez town, but the hotel has its own shuttle service that goes to town 24/7. You can call them, and they will send the bus free of charge. The room is clean and spacious and... More

the hotel is a nice typical French chateau deep in the green hills. the property is good maintained and it's quiet enough if you want a shelter from the usual st. tropez buzz. On the other side, if you go to st. tropez because of the buzz, probably that's not a good hotel for you. it's a bit far from... More

If you are after an amazing experience then this hotel is it. Perched on the hill above St Tropez, you can experience the buzz and atmosphere of the town and then return to the pure serenity of this wonderful hotel. St Tropez is a great place to visit but we have found the best month is September when the weather is still warm and the crowds have left.
