We stayed in this little hotel right in the village. The room was charming with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at their restaurant with a nice view. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. We celebrated our aniversary here - a great place to do so! The difficult part was getting... More

My wife and I choose this hotel in a kind of emergency - too much champagne on the dinner didn't recommend drive back to Aix-en-Prevence at night. But this was a decent hotel to spend the night, clean and with affordable (at St-Paul-de-Vence's levels) price. We didn't have any food, nor the breakfast, so I have nothing to say about... More

We went to this restaurant as the location was fabulous. However, the service was extremely toady slow and food terrible. My hubby had the foie gras which was nice but the toast burnt to a crisp. I had the gazpacho & bread which was terrible And I now have food poisoning. Please do walk ahead of the restAurant there are... More

Just had diner there. The view is spectular, be sure to get a table in the first row. Food very mediocre, we finished neither the salmon tartare (greasy, no seasoning), nor the risotto with gambas (risotto not fresh and not tasty). Service was nice enough but very slow (75 min before first course). Also, quite overpriced so for this kind... More

WE stayed for 3 nights en-route to Antibes. The hotel is located in the centre of the old village of St Paul de Vence. St Paul is perhaps a bit too oriented to tourists than some of the other ancient villages in Alpes Maritime but this does not detract from the wonderful architecture and views in the narrow cobbled streets.... This is a small rustic hotel, located in the middle of Saint-Paul de Vence, with a magnificent view on the mountains and valley. Very nice room ( Tulipe), comfortable. To sum it up, charming!!! Free wifi, very good connection. Don't take huge bags because you will have to walk to get there and there isn't an elevator.

Tge village is wonderful, and the hotel is right in the middle. But we didn't find the good atmosphere you expect from a weekend in provence. they lost the room key (keys are always accessible to anyone passing by!!), and we had to wait long before getting the room. But it could not have been a big problem if well... More

This small family run hotel is the only one of two that lies intra muros of St Paul de Vence. The other one is a 4 or 5 Star, so if you want to stay inside the village and did not just inherite money, this is it. Staying here requires a skill for creative parking, readiness to climb a lot... More

We were a bit worried after reading the reviews of this hotel, when we turned up early may for a week end stay at hostellerie Les Remparts, but it soon turned out, that we had no reason for any worries at all.
