We didn't stay here as we were staying in our motor home but my husband and I happened on this fantastic restaurant on a sunny day at the end of May whilst exploring the exquisite town of St Paul de Vence. We sat outside and enjoyed the most amazing view over Provence. The staff were completely delightful and efficient and... More

This was a wonderful hotel for us in the ancient city and it kept the theme of antiquity in a successful way while merging it with A/C and Wi-Fi, quite a trick. The bed was very comfortable and the surroundings very quiet and placid which made for excellent sleeping. The staff could hardly have been more accommodating and tended to... More

We were given a code to enter the hotel and after numerous attempts we could not open the door. Eventually a staff member appeared and let us in and duly informed us the code had been changed since they had e-mailed us the code. I just wonder where we would have slept that night if the staff had gone home.... More

My husband and I happened upon Hostellerie les Remparts. The food was wonderful - I have never eaten Buffalo Mozzarello and Tomatoes that tasted so good and my husband's steak was equally good. Simple food done well - can it get better? Yes, the view looking out over the surrounding countryside was something out of a French novel, but the... More

We enjoyed our stay. This is an old building and they refurbished some rooms, but 1) dont expect too much in terms of luxury and 2) quality of rooms are very different. The Rose and Cyclamen (no toilet) rooms are great, the Lilas room was less so. We stayed a couple of nights, and we dont have anything to complain,... More

My sisters and I stayed in the Rose Room and thoroughly enjoyed it, once we got in. Reception is not manned for much of the time, and our phones didn't work for us to ring them to let us in. We would recommend getting the key code as well as the phone number when you book. Apart from that, our... More

We stayed one night in this hotel. We had booked in advance and had received a code for opening the front door. There was no staff around when we arrived, but our key was in an envelope on the desk. The room was very nice, and had a wonderful view of the valley, as well as a nice bathroom. We... More

Took a day trip to the beautiful village of St Paul de Vance, as were walking around stumbled on this restaurant which we later found out was a small hotel. We were attracted by the stunning views of the Provence countryside, but the food was equally good, my own sea bass was as good as I've ever tasted and the local... More

This charming inn has 8 rooms all named after flowers. initially we had booked two rooms since we wanted separate beds. in translating a phrase in French that I didn't quite "get" it meant toilet down the hall. Not acceptable. so then we booked one room "marguerite" which had two beds (in the picture) when we arrived at the hotel... More
