It is a beautiful hotel, fabulous views from your own terrace and everywhere else, the price is three, not five star, and the staff is very good. The only drawback is it is a long way from a restaurant. It is a fifteen minute drive, or you eat whatever is being served in the hotel's gourmet restaurant. more

Just returned from 5 nights at the Amarante Golf Plaza booked last minute via the hotel website. A long and winding road upto the hotel.First impressions good with an impressive entrance and reception with all staff very helpful and polite .Pool and and spa area very clean and well kept. if you want to stay in a quiet hotel, with a wonderfoul panorama, this is the place. Hotel that you can find at goog rates/value. Unfortunately, the building seems a bit tired and not so well kept. Overall good. more
