It is a beautiful hotel, fabulous views from your own terrace and everywhere else, the price is three, not five star, and the staff is very good. Just returned from 5 nights at the Amarante Golf Plaza booked last minute via the hotel website. Paid over £500 per night for a suite - only room available at short notice - which looked like a boudoir - dark blue walls and doors with gold furniture that looked like it had been crafted by a 5th form woodwork class!... more

A long and winding road upto the hotel.First impressions good with an impressive entrance and reception with all staff very helpful and polite .Pool and and spa area very clean and well kept. We stayed here because we heard st maxime was a boat ride away from st tropez and would be convenient. This hotel is not near the water... not even close to walking distance.
