My wife and I came back to this hotel again this year for our September vacation in Provence because we enjoyed it so much last year. It's such a pleasure to find a small hotel where everything is always as it should be! Friendly staff, beautiful and spacious room, literally steps away from old Ste Maxime's shops, restaurants, and bars,... More

Booked on short notice on a tour with my convertible through the French Alpes and along the Côte D´Azur, my aim was to find good midrange room in the center of the village/city with a locked garage or parking area for my (valuable) car. The last was the hardest to evaluate on my daily search, therefore I highlight this point.... More

Completely modernised building right in the city centre of Saint-Maxime. 200 m from sea front with a great number of restaurants and bars around. Super nice place. Everything meticulously kept. Beautiful interior. Large beds, rather large room, beautiful bathroom, balcony with garden look. Our room had such a quiet location that we could sleep with open windows. Garden with tables... More

Checked out the reviews here and booked. From the first communication over email to our departure it was excellent. Located in a quite alley in the sweet town of Sainte Maxime, our room featured a lovely patio, with a view of the bay and a comfortable couch to relax on. Nicely remodeled the rooms here were spacious and quite comfortable.... More

My husband, daughter and I wanted a small hotel near St. Tropez, with easy access, but peaceful surroundings. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We drove down from Nice (1.5 hours by autobahn, and longer if you meander along the coast road the whole way.) Ask in advance for a parking spot (secure, at hotel). We were greeted warmly, everything explained... More

Hotel is centrally located, about 3 minutes from the sea and 3-5 minutes from a variety of restaurants. It has a private car park. Virginie, the owner, is very helpful as is Alexandra who lokks after breakfast and such like. Breakfast is generally outside and is all one would want in a warm climate - cerals, fruit, bread, croissants. Rooms... More

This hotel is simply beautiful. The owner clearly takes pride in her business. She is extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms are delightfully decorated, with real attention to detail. we also had our own private garden area. The breakfast is also delicious & we were lucky enough one morning to sit outside to eat it. It is within walking distance... More

A charming hotel a step away from the restaurants and shops of Ste Maxime. The staff were very friendly and always available for help and advice. The breakfasts were simple but perfect - in a pretty courtyard with a sea view. We also enjoyed a drink or two in the courtyard in the evenings. We had a ground floor room... More

Virginie puts her heart and soul into delivering what the hotel says on the tin. Good, clean rooms and a smile at reception. You dont come to this hotel for swimming pools and sun loungers; you do for clean, comfortable rooms and nice staff. On that basis the hotel is without fault.

I decided to spend the night in St.Maxime instead of St.Tropez to avoid traffic problems. It was definitely a good decision since you can easily reach St.Tropez in a 15' ferry boat. The Hotel Royal Bon Repos offered us a parking space (15€/night) and a very beautiful and modern room. The rooms seem to have been renovated recently, so the... More
