We last stayed here 20 years ago and we were pleased to find that the refurb has transformed it into (that terrible cliche) a 'world class' hotel. All of which comes at a cost , of course, so unless you can spare at least 2000 Euros a day ( including food) stay elsewhere. If you can, then just lie back... More

One of my favourite hotels. Love everything about it,I can't seem to find any faults. Easy access to nice airport , short walk into the village and a lovely run by the sea. The restaurants are excellent quality , can't wait to go back

I really enjoyed my stay there. The spa is great so is the service and food. Very friendly staff with children. Great location to all the south of France towns & villages without being in the hassle and bustle. Don't forget to visit Eze up in the mountains.

The hotel has the main rooms renovated but the operations are very dry and very out of date. The food, especially by the pool, is bad, tastless, unimaginative and with no variety. The service is also average and therefore the hotel should be charging less than half the money so that guests have the right expectations. It is not to the... More

This is a text-book example of a "who is doing who the favour" establishment. Start from the premise that the Hotel's position, with 16+ acres, is truly magnificent; the sea views, the Aleppo pines, the site itself, the neo-classical early 20Century architecture. However, the secret of a truly great hotel (and this is far from that) is the management's approach... More

I have been there twice. Last time with the kids. It's a wonderful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The service and housekeeping is impeccable. Rooms are extremely clean and well made. Breakfast is served under the pine trees. Price of food is a bit expensive but everything you order is delightful.

We stayed 3 nights there, had two rooms for a family of 6. This is by far the best resort we have ever stayed. The location, the setting, the view, this is heaven! The architecture and interior of the hotel are very classic while the rooms are modern and clean. Staff are well trained and professional. The hotel has a... More

Sheer perfection! Perched on a slope cascading down to terraces to the Mediterranean, nestled between Nice and Monaco, set in a magnificent tropical garden, with winding paths that lead down to what must be (along with Eden Rock) the finest pool in the entire Cote D'Azur, this place cannot be topped. Even if it weren't located in arguably the single... More

I had wanted to stay at the Grand Hotel since passing by its gates as a student 30 years ago. Despite the lengthy period of anticipation, it did not disappoint and truly is a little slice of heaven in the South of France. One tiny criticism was that the pouring of the wine with the tasting menu at Le Cap... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

We just completed a 4 night stay in July. We had four rooms booked for our stay. One major disappointment was fixed with an upgrade. Upon check-in we were notified that the pool would close early for two of our 4 nights (and open late one morning). This was a major issue because we were traveling with 3 children, and... More
