This area will blow you away. Artists have talked about "the light" in this part of France, and I totally get it. Eye achingly beautiful seas (although even here the beaches are best described as average) and roads and streets good enough to eat off. Think Surrey on steroids! And the hotel blends in with this quality greatly with a... More

We went to this hotel because we had been told it was one of the nicest in the area. It certainly was the most expensive. While we didn't upgrade to a water view, our 'garden view' overlooked the driveway and the back of a building. When we asked if we could move down the hall to at least enjoy a... More

First time we have stayed at this hotel. We arrived in need of complete relaxation and could not have found a better place. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely and the service amongst the best we have experienced. I want to put formal and relaxed in the same sentence, in my view they have got the balance exactly right. I... More

The service was outstanding and polished. The food is good although somewhat limited for a long stay. Sea view rooms and suites are definitely worth the extra price. The gym is one of the highlights of the property as is the pool with the swimming instructor who has been there for 60 years! Looking forward to my next visit.

The hotel is one of the loveliest my husband & I have ever seen but the service was VERY disappointing. Even when we reported an incident that the Duty Manager said would be taken seriously and to expect a follow up call or email from the Hotel Manager within the next day, more than 10 days later we are still... We last stayed here 20 years ago and we were pleased to find that the refurb has transformed it into (that terrible cliche) a 'world class' hotel. All of which comes at a cost , of course, so unless you can spare at least 2000 Euros a day ( including food) stay elsewhere. If you can, then just lie back... More

One of my favourite hotels. Love everything about it,I can't seem to find any faults. Easy access to nice airport , short walk into the village and a lovely run by the sea. The restaurants are excellent quality , can't wait to go back

I really enjoyed my stay there. The spa is great so is the service and food. Very friendly staff with children. Great location to all the south of France towns & villages without being in the hassle and bustle. Don't forget to visit Eze up in the mountains.

The hotel has the main rooms renovated but the operations are very dry and very out of date. The food, especially by the pool, is bad, tastless, unimaginative and with no variety. The service is also average and therefore the hotel should be charging less than half the money so that guests have the right expectations. It is not to the... More

This is a text-book example of a "who is doing who the favour" establishment. Start from the premise that the Hotel's position, with 16+ acres, is truly magnificent; the sea views, the Aleppo pines, the site itself, the neo-classical early 20Century architecture. However, the secret of a truly great hotel (and this is far from that) is the management's approach... More
