very nice hotel right on the sea. Almost the only nice one in the area. Rather spacious rooms, quiet. Spacious outdoors facilities. Spacious and beautiful suites opening to the gardens. Good food, excellent breakfast. Well-trained staff. more
Second stay at this hotel. Great room with small balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Everything at the hotel is slick and professional. Nice lunch and excellent dinner (we opted for half board which I recommend as a la carte dinner could be expensive). Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. more
The valet service was on the top thanks to Eric, Luis-Philip and Vincent, contrarly to the front desk manager who wasn't fair about the price we've decided to book the room (very noisy room near to the lift with a splendid railway view)!!! more
My husband and I stayed here for my birthday trip to Cote d'Azur in late summer 2007. I selected this hotel as a base for exploring surrounding towns, as well as enjoying some relaxing time by the beach/pool (as I love to sightsee and my husband likes to R&R). The hotel may not look like much from the outside but it's very nice! I stayed here for 3 days with my wife for a research conference. The room was spacious and very nicely appointed with a view overlooking the pool and the sea. The staff was very helpful and spoke fairly fluent English. The conference was catered so I... more
I stayed at Hotel Royal Riviera for two nights from October 10 - 12, 2008. As a Leaders Club member I booked a standard room via Leading Hotels for 170,-- Euro/night, taxes included (but without breakfast). At arrival I was welcomed by a doorman who took care of my luggage and the car. The check-in was efficient with guidance to... more
Our travel agent booked this last minute reservation for us at a reasonable rate, considering the Cannes Film Festival was about to take place within a few days. We were on our way to Barcelona Spain to catch our cruise ship, but our flight from New York to Barcelona was cancelled, so we had to catch up with the ship... more
I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had high hopes. The hotel itself is very nice. The room was awful. Though the view was spectacular, the room we were in was no where near worth the $1,000 we paid per night. It was below standard. The beach was nice, the pool area was nice, the restaurants were lovely, however,... more
It is so difficult to rate this Hotel. It is beautiful and definetly above Cote d'Azur standards. But the attitude of the staff and the shoe-box size of the rooms really let it down. We paid 840 Euros per night excluding breakfast for our room. The room was beautiful (in the Orangerie) but not really worth this large amount of... more
