Your options are to take their free shuttle to Monaco where everything costs a fortune, or to take a cab, 40 Euro each way (flat rate) into Roquebrune-Cap-Martin or Menton, France. The restaurant at Vista Palace was to chi-chi for us (we were traveling on a motorcycle with limited space for upscale attire) so we had little option to bring... more

A bit like visiting the Catskills in the 80s. That said, a good value if you don't want to pay to stay in Monaco. Expect an older crowd, rooms with keys and a battered old desk with switches built in that control the curtains and lights. Beds and decor need an overhaul. Staff is not happy to speak English. NOTE:... more

I booked this hotel for four nights as a gift to my husband to see the 2008 Grand Prix Historique (also highly recommend this event on a side note, for vintage car buffs). Pros: Fantastic views. This is why we chose this hotel over more expensive central hotels. The view truly lives up to the expectation on the website, and... more

Had been here years before but location still the best. The staff is very nice and the shuttle to Monte Carlo invaluable as parking is difficult. The views are spectacular. We will try to stay again next year as it is the perfect place for the Monte Carlo tennis tournament and, probably, for the car races, too. Access is great... more

First off, let me say that I was quite neurotic about researching the hotels for my honeymoon. I knew that I was going to spend a lot of money so I wanted to make sure that I found three great places. We began our trip by staying six nights at the Hilton Arc De Triomphe. Then, we took the train... more

My husband and I first stayed at the Vista Palace on our honeymoon. We liked it so much that we couldn't wait to go back. This time around, we were accompanied by my mother and our two daughters (ages 7 and 4). They loved it too! We booked a corner suite with a magnificent view on the bay overlooking Monaco... more

we stayed at this hotel two years in a row about 4 or 5 years ago. The first time we visited, we had a wonderful room that "wrapped" around, and from the windows on one side we could see Italy and from the other side, France! Because the hotel is perched so high up on a mountain, every view is... more

As many other reviewers have mentioned, the views from the Vista Palace are truly spectacular. Photos can barely do them justice and it was tempting to just sit on the balcony all afternoon rather than head down to Monte Carlo. I was impressed with the level of service; the valet parking is easy and fast and the staff at the... more

Every superlative written about this place is true!! We got reasonable rates for the third week of September and felt blissed out to spend two nights here--our vacation from our moving around, seeing the sights vacation. Vista Palace is a WOW on every scale. The staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating and will drive you to Monaco for... more
