I've been traveling for almost one month in all Europe and this is so far the worst Hostal I've been. I made the booking one month before however since they were expecting a big group, they made me to change my room every day of my stay that was so unconfortable because i had to make check out everyday and... Good value, and is nice because it's close to everything! Reception was also open late, staff was friendly. Basic rooms/facilities with little space, but expected. Breakfast was also limited but ok. Not sure if would return

This is 3 years I am going to this hostel, each time for 1 or 2 weeks. It is in the center of the city, close to every kind of shops and 15mn to the beach. Food shops are 5mn away and open till 22h and you can prepare your meal in the kitchen. At night there are many pubs... More

In complete craze of searching a sleeping arrangement this was heaven. (Most of hostels or hotels appeared closed at 11pm, if no booking) Reception was still open at 11.50, as receptionist and barman are the same. The bed and breakfast are approx. 28€. Breakfast is normal no specialities. While outside is nice, big terrase with tables and a bar (great... More

Pros: Very friendly staff (especially Mehdi who was super helpful); good price for Nice; located almost half-way between the train station and the beach; awesome kitchen to cook dinner in, close to a Monoprix and the tramline. Cons: Lock-out from 11 am-3 pm, 4-bed dorm only had tiny lockers, limited breakfast, timed showers/sink faucets.

I have stayed at Les Camelias several times and it is one of my favourite hostels, I always seem to meet such interesting people and have a really good time. My 4 bedded room with shower and wash basin was in an excellent situation on the second floor at the front overlooking the well tended garden. I made good use... More

the location is excellent and the staff wonderful, the only drawback is the limited breakfast- you do get what you pay for! the smaller dorms offer a better nights sleep but the convenience definitely outweighs the sleep scenario!

I stayed here when travelling to Nice with my friends (4 girls). It was very safe, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the location was spot on. Although the hostel was slightly tucked away behind a shopping centre (Monoprix), it was in the hub of shopping parade and a 15minute (max) walk away from the beach and... More

This hostel was... interesting. More time restrictions on when you can be in the rooms and when you can use the kitchen. It was a little off putting. You have to be out of the rooms from 11-1500, and cannot use the kitchen after 2200. The breakfast that you have to purchase only included french bread and granola. No yogurt... More

The hostel is a nice place, with clean rooms. However, it is very noisy as the walls are so so thin! It is in a fantastic location, 10 minutes from the sea and 10 minutes from the station Nice Ville. Overall, I would recommend this for a cheap place (even though it's not very cheap for a hostel) in Nice... More
