We stayed here for two nights during high season in August. We loved the location, very close the the old town, Messina Square, beach and tram. A short walk to everything. Our room was small, but nicely refurbished in a modern style; the decorators had done the best possible in the space available. Loved the garden and sea view from... More

I have stayed here several times. Consistently comfortable, clean and central to the old town, flower market and beaches. Elevator is small and slow, so ability to climb stairs is recommended. Staff is helpful but not overly friendly so if you want a concierge-type frontdesk experience, not a good choice.

We had a triple room which was ... Cosy. There was not a lot of room but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The toilet was like a cupboard where your nose basically touched the door. There is a bar downstairs that plays really loud music until 2am so take your earplugs. The woman at reception called the... More

I love this hotel. Nice, clean and not expensive. Very well located in the center of Nice. I stayed there 2 night for business reason and the people's were nice and kind. The price was reduced due of the rebuilding and low season, therefore I will come back for sure.

Hotel is just perfect for a city break. The bus ride from the airport is so easy(and cheaper than the 30euros a taxi ride would be) and stops right outside the hotel. The park opposite is stunning and provides a lovely place to sit when the beach is too hot or busy. Rooms clean and tidy...spacious too. Had a beautiful... More

What a ignorance at the reception. Rooms are ok. They are rude and impolite! Young Girls come in and get out the hole Night long...what a shame for that location! We are a couple and staid for two nights only before changing the hotel...The employees begins to work at 9 am only...Spend 50€ more and you'll find a good Hotel... More

Our room 305 had a fantastic view over gardens and the sea. The room although small was adequate and was tastefully refurbished,a kettle would have been appreciated, great position , small reception area but very helpful staff. Lots of cafes near by so didn't try breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Well It was a hot summer. When we landed to Nice Airport I thought that we will melt on the road while trying to find the hotel. Whel I was mistaken because Albert Premier is just in the centre looks both to a big park and corte dazur.. Hotel has given the bus stop his name from that you can... More

The Albert 1er is a 19th Century Building renovated some years ago and in need of a another face lift soon. While esthetically it might not be as alluring as some of the other hotels on the Promenade de Anglais, it is ideally located right in the middle of Old Nice and New Nice where everyhting from the beach, restaurants,... The hotel is in the best spot in Nice. 1 min walk to old town, shopping Street and the beach. the rooms are big, renovated and clean. There is no lobby or a great entrance but for this price you can not find a better place.
