Room was smallish, but certainly big enough for a few nights - bathroom had shower, bidet loo and sink - clean and towels changed every day if you wish. Staff friendly and helpful - although you have to vacate room by 11am on last day they are very accommodating about storing your luggage until you need to collect it for... more

Stayed here for a few nights in early June. The location really is great, anything you need is walking distance, old town, beach, bus station etc. We also had a great western facing (small) balcony that was very pleasant to sit out on in the early evening. The rooms are small and the amenities basic, our bathroom was particularly tiny.... more

As other have written, this older, small hotel offers walking distance to Old Niece, sea, train station, etc. The beds are on the hard side, there is no A/C, the bathrooms are terribly tiny, but the continental breakfast (5 Euro if not included), friendliness of staff and overall cleanliness makes up for the short comings. If you're on a budget... more

The hotel was in a great place. Rooms in hotel were a bit small but been in smaller, we found it spotless. Breakfast was basic but enough to get you up and out for the day. We love Nice and the weather certainly helped although rather pricey, but where isn't at the moment. Loads to do and plenty of places... more

The hotel and the staff were very nice, it was very basic but that is just what we wanted to spend more time out and about exploring Nice and surrounding areas the room were very small and the bathroom was tiny no room to move at all. The hotel is in a great location, near to the beach, shopping centres... more

Upon arrival there was a warm greeting from the receptionist, who spoke good English. The spiral stairs that run around a central lift are a distinctive feature of the hotel. My room was on the fifth floor. It was an average size with a comfortable double bed. The bathroom was spotless, yet tiny and would be less ideal if two... more

Room small in need of decoration, bathroom was OK just been decorated, only shower no bath. Very noisey could here toilets flushing and water from other guests using shower in other rooms, also noise from outside. Smell of stale smoke in room. Not worth the £52. Only good point ideal for town centre & bus services. more

Last minute room reservation was no problem in January. Very close to the old town, shopping, restaurants and transportation. Good value, small yet adequate room with private bath. Good ventilation and not too many stairs. Elevator very quaint and staff helpful. A bus ride to Eze is easy from the closeby bus station. We paid extra for breakfast that was... more

I totally agree with the last two reviews for this hotel - it is a perfectly adequate hotel at a bargain price, and I have no complaints. Yes the rooms (particularly the bathroom) are small, but it is in a great spot, near to shops and squares, bars and restaurants, the bus station and the promenade, the staff are pleasant... more
