In March 2009, we stayed at the Cronstadt for the 4th time. It is two minutes' walk from the sea, Promenade des Anglais and from excellent local buses to all the towns along the coast. The hotel is quiet, simple but clean and the owners have always been very helpful to us. That's why we keep going there! more

Good location close to the beach however about the only positive thing about this place . The owners are unfriendly and condescending. Really old fashion and not even a proper reception. try some else more

I stayed here for three nights in June with my husband. The lady of the house was friendly and helpful, if a little strict about not hanging socks and underwear to dry in the bathroom. There is one compelling reason to stay here - the comedy factor. The owner is a cross between Victor Meldrew and Basil Fawlty. We haven't laughed out so much in such a long time. Mind you, on another occasion, we might've cried. Go on, treat yourself to a laugh. more

We chose the Hotel Cronstadt based on it's central location, reasonable rates, and recommendations on Trip Advisor. We stayed 5 nights July 22-27. Our family of 5 booked 2 rooms, one double and one triple. On the plus side - the hotel is well located, reasonably priced, and the rooms are large (by European standards). On the downside.....
