Location is the seller on this one - ten minute walk from the train station and the bus to the airport, three minutes to the lovely tram, five minutes to Place Messina, ten minutes to the beach and the Old City. We rang to see if the hotel had availability, made a booking over the phone, gave the credit card details. Next day they called us to say an agency had booked all their rooms and that we no longer had a reservation. They weren't apologetic and didn't offer us or even suggest any alternative accommodation anywhere else. more
