We found the hotel satisfactory for our needs. Hussein was very helpful and we booked a day trip for 75 euros each to Monaco, Cannes, St Paul de Vin etc etc and it was very good value. 7.45 till 7.15 pm. Hussein was very helpful and next door was a Chinese restaurant that we used once, very handy. Would stay... More

please take this as a warning. I booked on line with this hotel : single room for 4 nights plus 4 breakfasts at 9 euro each. a city tax of 1euro per night must also be paid. when i went to check out and pay the price of my room was 9 euro per night MORE than the on-line price... More

Luckily we stayed here for only one night! filthiest room i have ever seen in a hotel. Holes in the floor covered by a wall to wall carpet, Even the bedsheets were so filthy i could scratch of dirt. When somebody went to the toilet on the room on top of ours, it sounded like a big waterfall entering our... More

NOT a worth the price. Our first room (10) was directly above a Thai restaurant. I like Thai food but room stunk terribly--like old oil. Toilet stunk so bad when flushed that I almost got sick. We were able to switch to a room after 1st night & begging. Ended up on " other side" of hotel. It didn't smell... More

We thought this hotel was perfect for the price and location. Staff were lovely - a perfect base for all our adventures. We rate local and quirky over generic and boring any day. I always feel sorry for those who stay in larger hotels & chains that look and feel the same the world over .. I suppose that might... More

Fumes came from the toilet during the night in room 32. Attitude of night porter was "so what!" Moved to another room, not much better. Was booked for four nights, decided to move out. Had long loud argument with receptionist in front of other guests before manageress arrived. The staff were crazy and arrogant......reminded me of Fawlty Towers. For €120... More

Was overall a decent stay... at max 2.5 star, but centrally located. the best thing about this hotel is you can see/ feel french culture, beach and city. the hotel is also very close to the main train station. I totally recommend visiting Cannes and Monaco. If you guys are going as big group then the hotel is good, but... More

We stayed here again for a nice visit at this clean, good hotel. Again: convenient location, around 5 blocks south of train station, nice rooms of average European size, also staff helpful and accommodating. www.hotelsaintgeorges.fr

I have been staying at the St Georges fairly regularly over about ten years and, although it gets some terrible reviews, it has always seemed excellent value for money to me. Location is top class; a ten minute walk from the station, the promenade and the old town and in a street that is very quiet at night. I am... More

This is not a 3 start hotel. If you are willing to put up with ants and holes in the floor for the perfect location, then do it, but don't pay more than 100$ per night. We had an ant infestation right from the start, even in our bed. Food and drink is banned in the hotel because of the... More
