Do not stay here unless you a re fond of dirt, stains, broken furniture and cold showers. Bed - filthy - full of stains both bleach and grease. Decent hotel with good location. Very central to Nice and can walk almost anywhere you need to go in Nice. Room was clean with a nice bathroom and spacious enough for two people. Room did have smoker's smell to it but it didn't fuss me too much!

Redecorated but not renovated.. The bed sheets had 'water like' stains large ones all over it... The lift is pointless and the staircase is so dangerous, if you trip, don't expect the railing to stop you. Breakfast was poor and staff were the same. Not helpful or welcoming. Stay at Hotel National from 30/04/12 – 03/05/12. This Hotel is classed at 3*. It obviously had been redecorated and re-carpeted, was very clean. However, I doubt it should have a 3* rating.
