Just returned from a weekend break to Nice, and thought the city was terrific. The Rivoli is located just off the main promenade and ideally situated for the old town, restaurants and shops. The hotel is full of character, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and welcoming. In particular the bathroom and shower were excellent. We like... More

The hotel is charming, the service was just excellent. the location is great. No panorama. We were a large party, in 4 rooms, some of the rooms were very small but very nicely decorated. Too many decors for my taste and too many decorative things on the furniture in the larger rooms ( and I forgot my book, lost in... More

This quaint Hotel is a five minute walk from the promenade, ten minutes from city centre and all attractions. The Airport bus stop is five minutes away. Staff are friendly and helpful and have fluent English. We had a 'superior' room which was on the second floor, the room was clean and compact. Tea & coffee making facilities were provided.... More

Dear Jane, Many thanks for your kind message. I will forward it straight away to our team. Indeed the superior rooms are our nicest rooms. Every room is decorated differently in respecting the beautiful architecture of the building, which was a former Nobel house of 1890. Here in Nice, it’s really spring time with temperatures over 25°, and you can... More

Just arrived back from a wonderful weekend stay in Nice, staying at the Hotel Rivoli. Firstly I can't commend the staff enough for their help. booking restaurants, transfers etc... couldn't do enough. This was our first trip to Nice and the hotels hospitality made our stay even better. Though the hotel doesn't have all the amenities of larger hotels, its... More

This was our second visit to Nice and second time staying at Hotel Villa Rivoli. The hotel is located in a quiet area. The rooms are on the small side, but neat and clean. Lovely breakfast room with a nice selection of food; there is an outside seating area as well, if you choose and if the weather permits. The... More

Dear Mrs. Carmen, It was a real pleasure welcoming you again. Many thanks for your kind words. Indeed we have the chance being in a quiet but very centralized location. You just can do nearly everything in walking distance. Concerning our buffet breakfast we increased the choice, so happy to hear that you liked it. Every winter season we constantly... More

The hotel is a very nice, house, decorated in French style, ideally situated only a 5-minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais. The rooms are very tidy and clean, and the breakfast is very good, fresh bread every morning, enfin, I would certainly recommend this hotel, and I travel since 20 years, so I can know!! Dear Diana, Many thanks for your very good review. Indeed the hotel used to be a former Belle Epoque private house of 1890 and we try to respect this beautiful architecture in the interior decoration. Our guests always says that they feel in a real French hotel. Thank you for the compliments to our chambermaids, they are doing a great... More

This hotel is very well located and I must say that I have been so well welcome that it hides drawbacks. Therefore I'm confused with this hotel and the mark I'm giving. Rooms are very small but clean. The main drawback is the noise. If you have no problem earring everything your neighbor does then I advice this hotel. Otherwise... More

This is a typical French lodging in a century-old house, located just 2 blocks from the promenade and the famous Negresco hotel, making finding your way home a breeze. Airport <--> Hotel connection is an easy bus ride (#98, 6 euro per person) along the coastline, just get off when you see Negresco on the left. It's also about a... More

I liked this small hotel just two blocks from the promenade in Nice. The first room was bigger but I didn't like the brown decoration. I asked to be moved to the blue room and this room was gorgeous. It looked like from a postcard. Too bad I was only able to stay a night in this room. I found... More

We got the rooms in the cellar, with small windows. But we quicly upgraded it for 15 euros to the 1 th floor. Rooms are small, but chamring and clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not the biggest one, but had all the basics.
