I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel as I randomly picked it on Expedia. great location, central to all bars and old town. 10 min walk to main train station. Hotel was clean with comfy beds and hotel staff were very helpful. I lost my camera and they called various places for me and spoke in French explaining the situation... More

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel in May. The rooms did not meet our expections. Only a couple of hangers for clothes, not enough space for clothes, internet didn't work in the room, the staff was not polite as we tried to find a solution to the problem regarding wi-fi. Noicy walking street outside the hotel. We will choose... More

No nonsense hotel, clean, airy, nicely renovated rooms, handy for everything in Nice. Try it out! Lots of things to do around the hotel, plenty of food outlets and bars, just a short stroll to the beach.

A clean, comfortable and friendly standard hotel - no frills but offered a fab buffet breakfast (though extra) - which was a great start to the day for me and my 2 teenage boys for our 4-day trip to the city. The location was perfect - in the heart of the shopping district, a short walk to the Promanade des... More

I've stayed at the Hotel Suede over a weekend at the end of june. While i was planning my trip, i was looking for my usual type of hotels: good location where you can walk everywhere and affordable in my budget. This hotel delivered on both criteria. When my travel agent told me that a single room was available for... More

I just stayed at Suede hotel traveling from Milano and I would like to reccomend it: very good hotel located close to the Promenade and to Nice vieux. Room not to big however I've choosen a standard one, clean, simple forniture and nice bathroom. Staff friendly and absolutely professional. Breakfast is generous and served at 5th floor with open terrace... More

As previously indicated by other reviewers - the location says it all! The bus to airport is very close and makes it 6 Euro single trip. The footpaths are well maintained which meant the trolley case was no problem to wheel to an from the bus stop. We had a lovely room on the 5th Floor with a balcony -... More

Just few minutes walk to the promenade & located within few steps to cafés & restaurants, shops & grocery stores. The bus stop to the airport & the casino is just a block from the hotel. Breakfast offers variety of choices. Clean but elevator service sometimes takes time to wait.

Could be so much better but let down by a lack of attention to small details. We asked for a kettle in the room to make early morning tea (surely a must for English guests!) but were told there were only three kettles available for the whole hotel and all were in use! The safe in the room did not... More

Location, location, location!! No I'm not a real estate agent! We caught a taxi to the hotel as we had bags to carry but it is an easy walk if you are strong or pack lightly. We did the walk when we caught the train to Monaco for the day (highly recommended). The staff at the hotel were always lovely... More
