Travelling with group of HS and college students, so closeness to the beach was the best part. Couple minutes walking to the beach or to the shopping street. Rooms were sparse but adequate, typically European. Shower AND tub was nice but the tub was far to narrow for most American hips. Staff was helpful and polite but with a touch... more

We were part of a Trafalgar European tour group (cost-saver). We stayed at this hotel 2 nights and really spent minimal time in the room/hotel – after all we were in Europe to sightsee! Hotel Busby – Nice Hotel’s positives - large room - clean - decent size bathroom, had a strange smell though (maybe from the shower curtain) -... more

Stayed here as part of a Trafalgar tour. Was pretty awful. Bedding was clean but carpets were not. Musty smell from bathroom that carried into room. not very pleasant. No in room safe. Stay at the Mercure Promenade des Anglais instead: much bigger rooms and more modern. more

We originally made a reservation at the Albert 1er (premier), but upon arrival at the hotel, we were told there was a water leak in the building and they had made arrangements for us to stay at Hotel Busby. The staff at Hotel Busby was much more friendly than those at the aforementioned Albert Premier. The gentleman who checked us... more

Had single room which looked out on the lovely courtyard, very clean, small but adequate since didn't spend much time there. Location was excellent, quiet but close enough to everything. Staff were friendly, gave us excellent directions and advise on getting around in Nice. Tip: We left a small tip for the breakfast staff and each day they brought us... more

Stayed 1 night with husband on a trafalgar tour. Food: breakfast (was included w/tour) was not good. toast/jam and yogurt. not much selection Hotel room: our room was on the small side but bedroom was clean. decor ok, not like hotel luzernerhof. I saw other rooms which are larger and much nicer, with balconies and curtains, etc. Bathroom: shower curtain... more

I stayed in Hotel Busby as part of a European Tourist Class Bus Tour. I found the accommodations to be adequate.. definitely nothing special but somewhere to rest your head. The hotel is old and was probably something special when it first opened but time has taken it's toll. The rooms are spacious but dated as was the bathroom. However,... more

We arrived in Nice after twenty days of touring France with a dozen American teenagers studying French. We were so surprised to be placed in such a luxurious hotel by our organizing company as we usually stay in two -star hotels. The very first impression we got of the hotel was even before we pulled up in front of it... more

We stayed at the Hotel Busby for 2 nights as part of a tour. It is a very old hotel and the rooms & bathrooms are incredibly drab & outdated. Luckily we didn't have to spend too much time there (we were busy seeing the sights of Nice), because it would have been incredibly depressing to have to spend any... more
