We were in Room 43, a "Privilege" sea view room with a lovely view from Hotel Suisse's perfect location on the end of the promenade and walking distance to Vieille Ville (Old Town). From the room we got to take it all in from the small balcony with retractable awning. We heard the sea breeze and the sound of waves... More

Probably the best location and view in Nice. Nice and clean rooms to a good value. On the beach, great sunset, close to everything, good service, breakfast, great location and fair price. Would love to come back the next time that we are visiting Nice.

Loved the location, steps away from great food and shops. The rooms however were quite small (have to spend the extra money for a privilege room) and quite noisy. The view was the best part but had to close the windows to keep the noise out.

Good location and views are absolutely amazing but that's all that is really fantastic. Some staff are nice but definitely not helpful. Rooms are basic and clean, beds are very hard. Location is great, right at the end of the promenade. Easy to use transit to and from train station or airport, just have to walk a few minutes from... More

Good location with great views. There was no bell hop at the hotel and with 4 large suit cases and alot of stairs....or the super tiny elevator they had wasnt very helpful. The rooms are super tiny and the beds are extremely hard. They charge 18 euro for a breakfast that I wouldnt even pay 5 for. The staff arent... More

The hotel is old but good. Stayed in a Duluxe room facing the lake. View is nice as for a hotel in the city also not noisy. Place is very convenient. You can walk around the lake in the evening. And also it's old look allows you to capture beautiful couple photos. :) Staff is flexible also.

Our welcome to the hotel was with what might be an ordinary way in France to treat customer? Stairs to claimb to reach the reception, and the luggage-man was just looking at us. We had to pass him, and he hardly moved to let us by. I made the reservation the day before and was told by mail that I... More

We stayed at Hotel Suisse for 3 nights in May 2015. We booked a few months in advance to receive a discounted rate (~E855 for 3 nights). We werent charged for the room until the week before we arrived (which usually we get charged at time of booking in Europe). We stayed in room 24. It was small, but very... More

I wish I could give a 4+ rating for the Hotel Suisse. The location is perfect, the staff was so nice, and the room was bright and large. The hotel is built into the Colline du Chateau, and we could be most anywhere in Port Vieux or Vieux Nice within a 10-minute walk. Even though it's on the end of... More

Excellent location overlooking the bay. Clean room and bed, helpful staff - able to answer every questions, arranged airport transfers at a reasonable budget. Highly recommended. Better rate at their own official site.
