Hotel location is fine, just some meters away from pedestrian street. Hotel itself is very small and walls are not isolated at all: you can listen everything what the neighbours say (even if they do not talk loud !). Rooms are quite old but clean. Breakfast is too expensive for what they offer. Better eat in a coffee shop somewhere... more

I have just returned from staying at Mercure Nice Hotel. It was a very good location, 15 mins walk to the station and about 20mins to the old quarter. I think we must have had the smallest room in the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor - room 216. The walls were dirty, you could not walk past the end of the bed without bumping into the bed itself or the wall and there was a solitary wardrobe as storage space. This hotel is not what you expect when you are used to have comfort or quality. Old style, you can hera the other room guests talking. Location is good and breakfast is normal for a 3 star. I will not return more

We stayed for 8 nights in june. The room was comfortable and clean and we always had plenty of hot water. There was an excellent choice at breakfast and the quality of food was high.
