I picked this hotel because it looked like a very different experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful with train schedules/sightseeing and even helped out with my French (which still isn't great, but I tried!) The bakery on the corner is great...lots of yummy french pastries. The room was a good size for Europe, clean and had a balcony. more

The Hotel Windsor in Nice on first impressions is nice, the lobby though small is modern and airy, the garden is a little oasis in a city, the bar and dining room are small, but that doesn't matter when there's so much choice nearby.
