Hotel is in a quiet area a couple of blocks back from the beach. Hotel and rooms very clean, individual decor makes the place quirky and different. Staff very helpful friendly and speak excellent English. Meals taken in the garden a lovely way to start the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were 4 couples and all agreed a very... more

Hotel Windsor is situated in the heart of nice, which is great for sightseeing, shopping and close to the beach. The hotel is ideaaly located near to all amenities and the train station is only a ten minute walk away, which opens up all the other towns along the coast to the traveller. Staff in the hotel are friendly and... more

I picked this hotel because it looked like a very different experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful with train schedules/sightseeing and even helped out with my French (which still isn't great, but I tried!) The bakery on the corner is great...lots of yummy french pastries. The room was a good size for Europe, clean and had a balcony. more

We had intended to spend 3 nights in The Windsor but left after one. It wasn't BAD but it certainly wasn't good and certainly wasn't worth the 155€ we had to pay for our 'best' room. By far the best thing were the entirely nice, friendly and helpful staff. The rest felt pretty tired and down-market to us even if... more

We normally stay in one of the Mercure Hotels, but decided to try something new, as it looked interesting on their site. Staff was friendly, however the room was very small & there was a continual humming which was very frustrating & the staff never identified or resolved. Don't even know if they tried. Also, there was a running water... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Hotel Windsor for a week during the summer of 2008 and absolutely loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it's in a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the Promenade des Anglais. Our room had some pretty bizarre décor but it was the perfect size for two people... more

After reading all the reviews, I decide to pay more and book a deluxe room for me and my husband since most complains are about the small room. I did it on their own website, get their confirmation. Upon our arrival, they told me they only have the comfort room available because I had request two twin bed or a... more

The Hotel Windsor in Nice on first impressions is nice, the lobby though small is modern and airy, the garden is a little oasis in a city, the bar and dining room are small, but that doesn't matter when there's so much choice nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly too. BUT...I would have reservations about making a reservation here again.... more

Spent 3 nights recently at Hotel Windsor, and thought it was a great hotel for the price. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English quite well. As others indicated, the garden is lovely, there is one computer station for free internet access, and the hotel has a stylish art-deco sensibility. The hotel has a few nice amenities, including a... more

The Hotel Windsor is situated in the middle of lots of restaurants and bars ranging from nice sit down eateries to quick take away shops. It has a spacious lobby with an abundance of personality and looks out onto the pleasant, well-maintained garden that has a tropical, rain forest feel. The restaurant has a rather small menu. Room 112 had... more
