We stayed here for 2 nights in July 2015. The hotel itself is a lovely little building just outside Nice City Centre, in Cimiez. It's quite an old building with tons of character that you just don't get with modern hotels. Phillipe and Christophe couldn't do enough to help and were always friendly. The bed was comfortable and the views... More

This hotel fit the bill at the right time. After spending a relaxing week, lazing in Corsica, it was a shock to the system when we got off the ferry and drove through Nice to locate the Hotel du Petit Palais. It was good to find a haven of peace and calm! The location is set away from the main town... More

We stayed here for one night stopping through Nice. The rooms, lobby and gardens are all tastefully decorated and clean. There is even a charming little pool which we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy. The hotel is located in peaceful, quiet street but is close enough to where you could easily walk to the Vieille Ville and beaches. Both... More

Excellent in most ways. Difficult to reach by elders and not so sportive people on foot, as it's quite hard to climb the hill to the hotel, especially late at night when comes back tired from city center.

Having enjoyed Nice several times over the years - it's a city that has everything - I had never stayed in the Cimiez area and chose Le Petit Palais as somewhere different and unique. And I wasn't disappointed. We were there from 23rd to the 27th of June staying in the Standard Mer Double (Room 305 - top tip). From... More

Stylish small hotel in a quiet and attractive residential area a short walk (uphill) from the centre of Nice. Very charming & welcoming staff. Breakfast could have been better for the price. But, overall a great experience.

We stayed at the Hotel le Petit Palais from June 16-20, 2015 and had a fantastic 4 nights in this lovely gem of a hotel. We fell in love from the moment we checked in - charming, century building, with rooms that are spacious by European standards. We stayed in room 302 - a corner room with an amazing view... More

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The only warning I have for visitors is to take a taxi or car to the hotel vs walking with backpacks on as we did, since the streets are steep and signs a little unclear. Once we arrived and saw the charming neighborhood as well as gorgeous... More

Dear Monica, We were very happy to welcome you for a part of your honeymoon. You are right concerning the roads to arrive in Le Petit Palais. However a good navigator will be enough. If you do not have a car take a taxi is the best way to arrive from the airport or from the train station. We will... More

A perfect find, admittedly it's a walk up a steep hill but wow it was worth burning those calories!! The views are breathtaking, the customer service welcoming and helpful, our room was ready by 11 so an early check in, top floor , there are lifts but only 2 flights of stairs anyway , the bed large double huge pillows... We stayed here for 5 days on a recent trip to Cote d'Azur. The rooms are well appointed, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our terrace had a stunning view of the city and water. A little bit of a walk to town, but nestled in a lovely and quiet neighborhood - it really felt like home. (Great... More
