Can't fault this lovely hotel. Nestling in the quiet old town, in its higgledy piggledy streets, the walk down to Nice passes interesting building and terraced gardens - worth the effort. Great room with a little terrace area which lead to the outdoor breakfast area that caught the sun nicely in the morning. Round the corner is a quiet covered... More

This is charming place, very friendly and very comfortable, but without any of the kitschy pretentious luxury that spoils so many places in the Côte d'Azur. The location seems slightly off the beaten path but affords a stupendous view of the city. It is within easy walking distance to Place Garibaldi and the streetcar.

Wonderful place to stay in Nice in a very trendy area. Walking distance to center and train station. Because its located on a hill you have a nice of view of Nice and sea. No need to for a Gym since walking up and down hill takes care of your daily exercise. Very nice and friendly staff. Professional and helpful.... More

I''ve been coming to the hotel for many years now and it's alway a big pleasure to come back and meet Patrick and his very friendly staff again. it's simply perfect. Ok, Patrick, one little advise then: please bring back the books you had in the dining room but that's really the only thing we can think about. See you... More

Thanks to TripAdvisor I found this really nice hotel. The Petit Palais has a superb price vs value and it is also very well located. So you walk in 15min to the port or museum of modern art. We where for business in Nice but I also can recommend this place for families. My sea view room was nice, clean... More

Been here to spend a weekend and celebrate Valentine's with my wife in Nice. I've booked this hotel after reading all the good reviews about this hotel. And it is all true. Great location. Maybe not for older people because it is a little climb to get to the hotel. But the room we had, superior with sea view, was... More

Very friendly and helpful staff ready to go the extra mile. Room with a perfect view to the sea and city. Good choice breakfast. Tastefully decorated. Very quiet location, 15 min by foot to the old town. No bus stop in proximity. Would always come back and recommend to friends!

The hotel is located above Nice on a hill. The view is beautiful and the rooms are large and clean. Service was very good, we were given many useful tips (Sightseeing, restaurants etc) at the reception. It is a small place and it has a lot of personality. Breakfast was in a little, romantic inner court, (unfortunately layed out with... More

Here's the story --quite incredible because highly unprofessional. I came 3 days earlier than expected early in the afternoon to be sure a room is available. A man at the desk told me there is lot of room available so no problem to extend to 3 days more. The room was very nice with a great view on the city... More

The hotel is on the hill above Nice which gives it amazing views. We picked a sea view room and we could not have been happier. The walk from the centre is uphill but not too difficult. We used the 2 sets of steps which saved time. One of thee steps going through the wooded area can be tricky because... More
