Hôtel du Petit Palais (aka Hôtel le Petit Palais) is a little gem in Nice. Located ~ 10 minutes walking from the old city (up a steep hill, on winding but easy to navigate roads), the hotel is charming. The rooms are small but not too small, and everything is impeccably clean and well kept. We stayed in a sea-view... More

I booked Hotel du Petit Palais based on other trusted reviews here on TA and I'm so glad I did. This was a very rare trip away for myself & my Husband to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and my birthday combined. We booked for 3 days, 4 nights to make it a long weekend and it really was the... More

From the very welcoming staff (esp. Phillipe), to the beautiful and peaceful view of Nice and the sea, excellent breakfast and bar terrace, it is only a short drive or longer walk to Old Nice. The internet was spotty but worked well our last day.nicely appointed rooms. For the price we highly recommend

The Petit Palace is on a hill overlooking Nice, with great views. It's a peaceful residential area which is important because many parts of Nice are rough and noisy. We arrived late, around 9pm, to a warm friendly welcome. We wanted just a bite to eat and ordered a cold plate for one from room service and got a large... More

This hotel is off the beaten path of the Promenade and downtown. Situated on a quiet street above the city, this beautiful hotel creates a secluded feel and cloistered atmosphere. The service staff are attentive and helpful. The rooms were large ( by french standards) comfortable and well furnished. I would be aware that the second floor rooms enter from... More

Hotel du Petit Palais is a really nice and charming hotel which I can definitely recommend. We had a nice welcome from Carole and she was open for every question. The hotel is situated on a small hill (Cimiez). So you have to accept walking up a little bit at the end of the day. But don't mind, the view... More

Can't fault this lovely hotel. Nestling in the quiet old town, in its higgledy piggledy streets, the walk down to Nice passes interesting building and terraced gardens - worth the effort. Great room with a little terrace area which lead to the outdoor breakfast area that caught the sun nicely in the morning. Round the corner is a quiet covered... More

This is charming place, very friendly and very comfortable, but without any of the kitschy pretentious luxury that spoils so many places in the Côte d'Azur. The location seems slightly off the beaten path but affords a stupendous view of the city. It is within easy walking distance to Place Garibaldi and the streetcar.

Wonderful place to stay in Nice in a very trendy area. Walking distance to center and train station. Because its located on a hill you have a nice of view of Nice and sea. No need to for a Gym since walking up and down hill takes care of your daily exercise. Very nice and friendly staff. Professional and helpful.... More

I''ve been coming to the hotel for many years now and it's alway a big pleasure to come back and meet Patrick and his very friendly staff again. it's simply perfect. Ok, Patrick, one little advise then: please bring back the books you had in the dining room but that's really the only thing we can think about. See you... More
