We stayed for two nights in September 2014. The temp was in the mid 90'sF/low 30'sC, Nice hotel with air conditioning in the bedrooms but not in the common areas. I spent hours searching for a hotel with AC but didn't even think to consider if AC was in just the rooms or in the entire building so thought it... More

We have just checked into this hotel. We have not even been here for one hour and already I regret having booked it. First of all we had to call reception because the in room safe did not work, secondly we were not given the room we believe we booked. When I went back to reception the girl told me... More

I have stayed at the Westminster for the last four years on my trips to Nice and although the management have a very casual and dismissive approach to customer service(this does not include the staff who are excellent), I have always valued its central position on the seashore promenade and the fact that the rooms are comfotable and spacious. having... We had a lovely time staying here! Close to the beach, old town and a buffet breakfast every morning can't be beat. The building was in beautiful condition and even though it was a historical building, no amenities were missed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

Very nice, and even during a renovation project it met our every need. The room was small but very comfortable. Breakfast buffet every day was a memory in and of itself, loved it. Right on the sea made it great to just relax in the room with the window open to the sea air during siesta. If too hot, no... More

Extensive building works being carried out. Currently the only facility is a temporary Dining Room. No bar, lounge or other public area. Entire front of building was a building site. Lots of dust and noise. Had sea view room. Carpet dirty and stained and dated furniture. Was not told of disruption prior to booking so most unhappy with quality of hotel... More

We payed for a junior suite with a balcony and for the amount that we did pay I would have expected a bit more. The photos show luxurious modern rooms but what you get is a nice room with outdated furniture and artwork. I think on these rooms the balcony should have block out dividers between apartments so that you... More

We recently stayed at the Westminster. Renovations of the reception and outside bar area were happening but not disruptive. Was given an upgrade to compensate which was very generous. The sea view room was incredible. Buffet breakfast delicious. Superb location. Highly recommended.

I'm giving 4* because of the refurbishment which we haven't been aware off. Even though we booked through Expedia we should have been informed. When we arrived it looked closed because of the building works. The hotel is very nice and traditional though so definitely would stay again. Room is spacious and clean. Another thing I wanna mention is the... More

Although they are doing the refurbishment, I did not hear the noise tho. The room is big and clean with a very typical french style. The working staff there are helpful and friendly with good manners. And the location is good as well, all the four five stars hotels are on the seaside and nearby.
