Had a great 2 day stay. Very close to harbour, shops and eating. Very welcoming owners , nothing was too much trouble. Lots of information available. Easy to find, parking, lovely courtyard to sit and have a drink or eat.The room was very comfortable with plenty of room and kitchen facilities.Did not need to car to find a good restaurant.... More

Brilliant hotel, with very friendly, welcoming owners. Four of us came to Nice for cycling, loved the rooms around the courtyard, and the fact it was so easy to bring bikes in and out. Courtyard was great for relaxing and eating, after cooking in the kitchens. Made our stay very pleasant and easy.

Stayed here for a weekend cycling trip around the fantasticly beautiful Cote d'Azur. The hotel was ideal for us - reasonably priced , well located for restuarants and very accommodating for all our cycling gear / bikes/ boxes ! Very friendly owners- rooms basic but good sized and comfortable. The courtyard was a bonus for dismantling bikes !

but it's next to a fire station so you hear sirens go off at least twice per day/night (even though it's a quiet back street and no need for them to use it). The hotel didnt have a clear sign out the front so we had to walk up and down the street (with a taxi waiting) to find it.... More

Excellent family hotel with very friendly owners. I stayed there while i arranged an apartment nearby and found it comfortable and value for money.

Reviews can be a powerful thing, can they not? But be careful to take a balanced view! I'm not into flashy corporate establishments. An escapee from the chains if you like! The Clair Hotel is built on the side of a steep hill. The family that run it have the uppermost level and the rooms are accessed via a courtyard a couple of flights of stairs below.
