We stayed at le Malmaison for 2 nights at the start of our honeymoon. After trekking the long way round, we realised that the route to the hotel was actually straight down from the station and only about 5 minutes away. Really nice, newly refurbished hotel. Friendly staff; at the desk, at breakfast and housekeeping. We also managed to lose... more

We paid €40 each for a room for 1 night with 3 single beds. I'd be pretty sure we were the only guests in the hotel but it was really clean and tidy and a nice place to stay if you are just looking for a bed. The only bad thing was the air conditioning wouldn't work and when we... more

We booked this hotel because we wanted a room with 3 single beds in the same room. The hotel was easy to find and a short walk from where the airport bus drops you off. The staff at the hotel reception were not expecting us and took a while to find our booking but it didnt seem to be a... more

Stayed for two nights in a "privilege" room (no. 54), meaning a room with more space and on a higher floor, again meaning a better view from the balcony. Yet, when you pay extra for a better room, you expect more than a few extra square meters of carpet. A few complaints: - What is up with having a desk... more

The hotel is newly refurbished and we were allocated in a really nice corner room, very spacious with double height ceilings. Us being choosy we asked for a room with a balcony. The staff were ever so accommodating and gave us a room with a balcony, smaller than the previous one, but also lovely. It was so hard to choose... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Malmaison for 3 nights in March 2009. We took the Eurostar and TGV from London to Nice-Ville and after a hassle free but none the less long journey were very much looking forward to resting up in relaxed surroundings before exploring Nice. We were not disappointed. The hotel is a very straight forward... more

I recently stayed at 'La Malmaison' and found the hotel to be an ideally situated and comfortable hotel. I arrived about 4pm and was checked in swiftly by a pleasant and helpful young receptionist. The reception area was relaxing with comfy chairs and flat screen TV. Our room was on the 1st floor and was a decent size. Impressed with... more

Booked a 3 night stay here and were not disapointed with either the city or the hotel. We were looking for something relatively "cheap and cheerful" and the Malmaison fitted the bill perfectly. The entire hotel was recently renovated so its comfortable, modern with all the usual bits and bobs such as large flat sceen tv, free wifi internet access... more

This is a lovely comfortable hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. The staff were nothing but friendly and helpful. The room was very nice for the price (nicer than we expected.) The location is good-very close to the railway station and easy walking distance to the town but far enough away that it is quiet. Definitely to be recommended for... more
