The price-quality relation was quite good, as they offered me a last minute upgrade... and i'm happy i took some. Just go for the rooms in the upper levels on the last levels. They have big balconies giving on the most marvelous of the avenues in Nice, the bd Victor Hugo., with the most ancient luxury houses from former centuries... More

Do not make the mistake of thinking, as we did, that this establishment has anything at all to do with the Malmaison chain of luxury hotels with which we are familiar in England. The only thing it has in common is the name. In fact it is a bog standard back street French hotel with something approaching delusions of grandeur.... More

After having booked a double room and having received a formal confirmation by mail, when I arrived (at a regular hour) I found a bad surprise, as the room I booked was not available. It was a clear operational error. Personnel was completely unprofessional at managing it. At first they showed self confidence, then they panicked and the only explanation... More

I had a comfortable stay here, especially as the location is so good - very near the centre and a five minute walk to the celebrated Promenade de Anglais which borders the beach and the Mediterranean. The room was a little small, and the breakfast buffet a bit limited, but for the location and the price this is a very... More

Nice quiet location in the centre on Nice. Good breakfast. Room was nice but rather small for two persons. Only 10 min. walk to the beach and old town. Interior nicely decorated. Some traffic noise not problematic.

My girlfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. Whilst booking, we requested a refurbished room, assuming that refurbishment had been FINISHED. What we walked into was well below standard. The grill-cover from the air conditioning was missing, there were loose wires at the back of the hot towel rail, the shower screen was missing, also there were loose wires... More

Great location! Easy walking to the Promenade, restaurants and cafés. Great little bakery closeby. Room was very clean. The only negative is the setup of the shower. It was awkward to use - a hand-held shower head but no shower curtain. we had one of the recently renovated rooms.

Hotel has an excellent central location in a leafy boulevard close to Promenade des anglaise.Reception area and service basic although rooms are clean and comfortable enough, reasonable size and usual basic amenities. As long as you have a reasonable enough room rate(by Nice prices) and you don't expect facilities of a large hotel then this hotel will do you fine.
