The mercure Nice Marche aux Fleurs was in a great location. The hotel is right on the beach, and is located just south of the "old city", which is a great place to walk, eat and drink. Moved here having had a bad experience with Hotel Massena, (see review) and got a very nice (albeit very small) room with a balcony and sea view. Room very comfortable - air con had been on so room was cool. Bathroom compact / complimentary Robes / slippers which were an unexpected surprise. On the promenade, next door to The Opera House, almost in the Flower Market and Old Town......where could be better ! Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. I stayed here as part of a Rick Steves tour and the location was perfect. When you step out the door you are on the Promenade Anglais and the Med is just in front of you.
