The hotel is located in a great location. I had picked this hotel based on some recommendations on Tripadvisor, as well as Rick Steves' book. It's not very expensive, but our group had both basic rooms and more upgraded rooms. The upgraded rooms are spacious and modernized. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired (i.e. used... more

This small hotel faces the sea near to the old town in Nice, with the flower market / restaurant area to the rear. The staff are friendly & helpful & the hotel is spotless. We had a superior room which was large & airy with air conditioning. It was very good value for the location. Look out for offers if... more

The mercure Nice Marche aux Fleurs was in a great location. The hotel is right on the beach, and is located just south of the "old city", which is a great place to walk, eat and drink. The hotel itself was small, but very cozy and comfortable for a short stay. There was private beach access for a small fee... more

Moved here having had a bad experience with Hotel Massena, (see review) and got a very nice (albeit very small) room with a balcony and sea view. Room very comfortable - air con had been on so room was cool. Bathroom compact / complimentary Robes / slippers which were an unexpected surprise. Very good value for money considering the location... more

We booked the holiday very last minute to escape the rubbish English 'summer'. The location of the hotel was superb, across the road from the beach and very near good quality restaurants. It was very easy to get to the hotel from the airport and was easy to find. Our air-conditioned room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were... more

All up experience was a great one and would recommend to others. We chose this hotel though trip advisor reviews and previous use of the hotel chain. Used www.lastminute.ie to book. We followed a little of what the Cara magazine that was on our flight with Aerlingus had advertised on places to see. Our first trip to Nice, and was... more

On the promenade, next door to The Opera House, almost in the Flower Market and Old Town......where could be better ! Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Overlooking promenade, with balcony cost us €147 per room. Side rooms are much cheaper. Mercure benefits apply. We, ie aparty of 6 have been at least 5 times and would not stay elsewhere.... more

good-day everyone! i came to Nice to study but first arrived with my mom to settle things down(registration,house-seeking,etc)..we stayed at this hotel for 7nights. i think the hotel doesnt give value to the money : it was high season, the night was a lil more than 200euros/night (no breakfast included)..but they dont offer any special services: NO SWIMMING POOL,the rooms... more

The Mercure Marché aux Fleurs will appeal to travelers who like small, intimate, few-frills, reasonably priced hotels in great locations. "Chaleureux" is the word that comes to mind for the warmth and personal attention shown us by the staff. As others have noted, the rooms are small, rather like ships' cabins, though there are more spacious rooms available with gorgeous... more

I stayed here as part of a Rick Steves tour and the location was perfect. When you step out the door you are on the Promenade Anglais and the Med is just in front of you. Around the corner is the Cours Saleya/market street and old Town. Great location for exploring the Old Town. The room was contemporary and clean.... more
