We stayed at the Beau Rivage for two nights in June and likely would not stay there again. Even with dark lighting (which was an inconvenience in its own right), the rooms were noticeably unclean; further, the staff was not welcoming or accommodating. The advantage of the hotel was its location - across the street from the beach and a... more

Booked two rooms for me and my friend and confirmed it over the phone and by email; but when checking in we were told that there's only one room allocated for us...Luckily they found us another room, so that was ok. But the way staff dealt with it was horrible...blanking us, rude...like it was our fault that they've made a... more

I was staying at the Beau Rivage for 2 nights in June 2009. Prior to that we were staying at the ultra-shabby Meybeer Beach Hotel, which was pretty crap but I guess at €40 a night one should not really expect much. The change to the Beau Rivage was a massive upgrade and in retrospect I wished that I would... more

We had a very positive stay at the Beau Rivage. We found the staff were very helpful, the beach was perfect and again staff lovely. Food and drinks are a bit expensive on the beach but that is to be expected. The hotel is right round the corner from lovely restaurants and Old Town, so perfect location. We recommend breakfast... more

The good: 1) The location. 2) The breakfast. That's it. The bad: 1) Service. The front desk staff couldn't be bothered in general. When I returned to the hotel at 8pm I was expecting a phone call. The hotel didn't answer its phone even though there was a gentleman at the desk who was ostensibly annoyed I disturbed him from... more

The location of the hotel is super - you will be hard pushed to find better. Our stay (1 Night) was very disappointing. Firstly the "delux room" was anyting but. Very small and pokey. Secondly do not be fooled by the advertising - there is no beach package. The hotel lost the use of the private beach earlier this year... more

Stayed here towards the end of May 09, hotel is clean and seems well run. The standard room we had was a fair size with block out blinds, mini bar, and safe. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and had no problem with non french speakers. more

We stayed at the Beau Rivage for three nights while on vacation in Nice. The hotel was beautiful, modern and clean. The location was perfect...centrally located to all of the shops and eating venues. It is located near the end of the Promenade, but that seems to be where the most action is! The room was a decent size and... more

We stayed for one night -- £230 for a junior suite. The room was a nice size, bathroom was clean and modern, and the king sized bed very comfortable. We had a long narrow deck outside with lounge chairs...... but looked out onto a central courtyard. I would have thought for £230 we would look out onto the water. The... more

We had chosen Beau Rivage as a hotel for a quick break away from two twin girls over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We decided to upgrade to a Deluxe room so as to ensure a great weekend in a beautiful location. Disappointment set in immediately when we were shown our room. Our deluxe room was at ground level to... more
