We stayed at the Hotel Ellington for 3 nights, staying in Nice to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The public areas of the hotel are very nice and the staff friendly and welcoming. However our room, a deluxe one on the 3rd floor front, was in need of redecoration - the walls being dirty and marked and the paintwork around... More

We booked this hotel via British Airways a f got a very good deal including the flight. The hotel is lovely, very good staff, nice room, and very close to everything you would want it to be. We stayed in a Deluxe room for very little more and it was probably worth it. I would definitely stay agin

NIce hotel and good base for visiting Nice. Lots of restaurants and bars around the hotel and only a ten minute stroll to the old town and harbour. Very frindly and helpful staff but bar expensive, so would recommend a bar nearby or supermarket. Ten minute walk to Garibaldi Square where you can catch bus 98 straight to airport, cost... More

This hotel and rooms are small but very comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The street outside is silent. The area is safe and you can find spa hotels around. There are quite nice pastry shops around and you can taste the most delicious chestnut (as desert)

We stayed on an organised trip and paid an extra fifteen euros to upgrade do deluxe, room 104. This appeared to be at least twice the size of rooms on the fifth floor. The breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of restaurants about ten minutes walk away : the Ellington does not provide other meals except as room service. The... More

We spent a week here on an organised trip and had a nice room (220). Comfortable with a bit of space but not spacious. Kettle is useful but they often did not replace used tea or coffee. Also fridge and you could use the water and coke in it once without charge. TV worked with good picture but very little... More

We stayed 4 nights at The Ellington ending Friday. We had stayed at the Ellington in Berlin and had been very pleased with the quality and service so we thought we would give this a try. We booked through Secret Escapes and got a great rate. The room we were given was on the second floor and could have benefitted... More

I was here for a meeting and it was perfect - very central, extremely quiet, good price, OK breakfast, and a staff that is pleasant, efficient and professional. The meeting room was not stuffy, hot or cold, coffee came when ordered, etc. The four stars might indicate a level of luxuriousness that doesn't evidence itself, but the hotel is very... More
