We stayed at this hotel for 16 days in july-august 2012 with two 2 years old children. We had a small apartment with kitchen/cooking facility. A little bit away from the Nice seafront, but easily accessible by tram or a gentle stroll to the promenade, the hotel is near the Place Garibaldi, where there are plenty of cafe/bistros to choose from.
