I def recommand this accomodation to other travellers, easy to find, near city center, helpful staff, clean and vast rooms. The only inconvenience we had is that there were no common transportation to the airport early morning, but other than that, everything was great!

Just came back from spending 3 days in Chez Brigette. The location is great, only seconds away from high end shops and central Nice. Only a 20 minute walk to the beach. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. If you arrive from the airport take bus 23 as it only cost 1.50 euros compared... More

This is NOT a hotel, nor hostel... It's hardly more than staying in someone's odd house. Many aspects of our stay here were off-- we received no info on how to get to this women's hard-to-find home, she advertises it as a hotel/hostel but the place is simply her poorly taken care of house, incredibly overpriced, stained towels, broken outlets,... The is a cheap place that is very quirky and interesting, the hostess is very friendly and will do what she can to help. The only downside is this is not a hotel if that's what you thought you booked or are use too, but being able to make your own food is lovely when on holiday. Would stay again... More

The place itself could use some doing up, but everything else was just great. The rooms and shared bathrooms (you don't get private bathrooms) were spacious and clean. Every room was done up differently, lending a unique character to each one. Ours overlooked a courtyard squared in by adjacent and opposite buildings, which meant that it was nice and quiet... More

We stayed in the triple room and enjoyed our stay. It was great to cook in the kitchen and we made 2 meals during our 3 night stay. The place is very convenient to the train station and the price reflects that it is more a guesthouse than a hotel. Overall quite cheap accomodation - and if you want a... More

Brigitte was a lovely host. Her guesthouse consists of 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet and 1 kitchen. Quite spacious. However, the place is next to the railway, very central but can be quite noisy when the window's opened. The apartment is old so the door can be a bit loud when opening, closing or locking. However, the place was... More

After reading some lovely reviews, we tried to book chez brigitte for our four night trip. We couldn't get the first night so spent at another hostel. On arrival here, my stomach knotted up. Why on earth does the listing forget to mention the rooms overlook the main railway tracks (7 or 8) and an elevated motorway passing through Nice?... More

Due to totlaly unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our trip to Nice. We cancelled through hotels.com as soon as we could. Chez Brigitte charged us as a no show – full charges for our stay! She has refused to back down on this stance. I would not recommend this outfit – out to con money from customers. We are... More

A simple, no fuss b&b tucked unexpectedly in a building that seemed to have a crumbling exterior. In a great location minutes from the SNCF train station and main tram line, with cute welcoming touches, a friendly and easy-going host and a feline house-sitter with great personality. Spacious and cheerful rooms. Breakfast is not included but guests have access to... More
