We couldn't find too many hotels in Nice that could accommodate a family of four In a suite or a big room. But Chez Brigitte fit our needs perfectly when we found it by searching on the Net. The place is a bit hard to find. So carry a cell phone that works in France before you go there late... More

We found both Brigitte and her guesthouse altogether charming. The location is very central and handy for the station. Although it is located across the road from a train line and motorway, we weren't unduly bothered by the noise. The rooms and public areas are clean and pleasantly decorated in a kitschy, quirky style. If you want to cook for... More

I have read a few reviews on here that seem quite negative but I really loved this place.. I found it to be very charming. Lots of quirky ornaments and pieces of furniture about, I loved the old building, it felt very authentic. Air Con worked brill, wifi was grand. I loved the three bathrooms, one had a really deep... We found the door but nothing were written there. We called the given number and she told us how to get in the flat and the room. She is really nice and hospitable. There was AC in the room and WIFI. It was really nice and spacious! I could only recommend it to anyone, hope to go back next year!

We had a fine stay at Chez Brigitte. It's location is very good, near the central station. The place is quite clean, and it's nice that you can use the kitchen. The place is a little bit old though with a lot of old decorations. The place would look much cleaner and better if she let go of some furniture... More

Very weird. Owner was not there and was rude when we enquired which room to use, they could not find our booking, we were told to use a room which someone else was using, then told to use another 'family' room which they had that night. Not sure about the second night. None of the doors had proper locks so... More

I def recommand this accomodation to other travellers, easy to find, near city center, helpful staff, clean and vast rooms. The only inconvenience we had is that there were no common transportation to the airport early morning, but other than that, everything was great!

Just came back from spending 3 days in Chez Brigette. The location is great, only seconds away from high end shops and central Nice. Only a 20 minute walk to the beach. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. If you arrive from the airport take bus 23 as it only cost 1.50 euros compared... More

This is NOT a hotel, nor hostel... It's hardly more than staying in someone's odd house. Many aspects of our stay here were off-- we received no info on how to get to this women's hard-to-find home, she advertises it as a hotel/hostel but the place is simply her poorly taken care of house, incredibly overpriced, stained towels, broken outlets,... The is a cheap place that is very quirky and interesting, the hostess is very friendly and will do what she can to help. The only downside is this is not a hotel if that's what you thought you booked or are use too, but being able to make your own food is lovely when on holiday. Would stay again... More
