Arome Hotel's owner Fabio is an uncle I never had, but wish I did. He greeted me early on a rainy morning on my first time in Nice, a trip I was making with my daughter and best friend; she found the hotel! He'd been prompt in all prior correspondence about our room needs. He gave us super easy and affordable instructions on how to get to the hotel by Tram from the airport, a short trip away, maybe 20 minutes tops, the station is a couple of blocks away. I arrived first, and he took care to see that I dried off and rested a bit. He was equally warm and kind to receive my daughter and best friend. The rooms are elegantly decorated, spotless, super comfy beds, too! Each morning, you'll receive a bag of fresh croissants at your door. The hotel is about two blocks from the stunning beach, as well as myriad shops, restaurants, bars, supermarket. Old Town is a must see, about a 20 minute walk along the beach. The rates were super reasonable, considering the hospitality Fabio provided; I hope to go back one day! Thank you for everything, Fabio!

I rarely write reviews but felt that I had to for this hotel. First of all I would just like to thank the staff at the hotel for making my stay so enjoyable. After many delayed flights I finally made it to the hotel only to be greeted by Fabio. He immediately made me feel happy. I even noticed when I landed that he had sent me several emails asking me if everything was okay and if he could do anything for me as I hadn’t arrived yet :) He then sat down with me and gave me some suggestions on what I should see in Nice. The hotel itself is in a fabulous location. About a 4 minute walk to the Metro which can take you to the airport and about a 4 minute walk to the Promenade Anglais (The Beach) It’s clean and quiet and the staff is so kind and I feel really make you feel welcome. As I was arriving a previous guest was even dropping off a gift to Fabio because that’s how nice he is. I loved my stay in Nice so much and would definitely stay at this hotel again :)

Please do not hesitate in booking this hotel, I promise you will not be disappointed! From the moment you check in, you are looked after and provided with wonderful information about Nice and the surrounding towns and beaches. No question or request is too much trouble. The property itself is super cute and boutique, and honestly deserves more than 3 stars. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Location wise, it couldn’t be better, a short stroll to the gorgeous blue waters of Nice. Fabio and Barbara are wonderful hosts and we truly hope to come back some day!

We didn’t actually stay there in the end but from our dealings with the owner/manager I would thoroughly endorse the excellent ratings for this hotel. A 5 star experience and our issues were met with compassion and professionalism. The speed and efficiency alongside the excellent lingual skills lead us to want to promote staying there. I’m sure everyone has a great experience. Thanks

This hotel is really lovely - it's a smaller, local hotel, not an American chain, so keep that in mind if you are used to huge American hotel rooms, but I was traveling alone and light, and it was great. My room was clean and quiet and affordable, and it's in a terrific location (walkable to the Old City and beaches and the tram stop from airport, as well as tons of neighborhood restaurants with amazing food). The managers on site are also really kind and helpful. I had a single room room on the top floor - I think some of the single rooms have skylights only, but the one I had was at the end of the hall, so it had an additional window with a lovely view of the church and streetscape outside.

An absolute beautiful place to stay in Nice . We stayed in room 1 which had a street view which I would recommend . Fabio met us on arrival and talked through the places of interest to visit . It is so easy and cheap to get the tram from the airport and it takes approximately 25 minutes. We also visited Monaco and Cannes whilst staying here . We got the train to them and the station is no more than a 15 walk from the hotel . The location of the hotel is great for the promenade and lots of restaurants on Rue De France which is no more than a 5 minute walk . You will not be disappointed if you stay at Aroma Hotel ps the croissants in the morning are delicious and a lovely touch . And the coffee machine in the room does fab coffee for a machine !! Thank you to Fabio for making us feel so welcome .

Excellent hotel, all for these reasons: - location: 2 blocks from the promenade, 10-15 from the hustle and bustle, which is ideal. - Fabio - Fabio owns the hotel and is so attentive, warm and friendly. Great advocate for his city and his recommendations are excellent! We were delayed on arrival to Nice and we were going to miss our reservation that we made, I contacted Fabio who rearranged our reservation for us and then booked us in somewhere new and close to the Hotel that evening, the restaurant he chose for us was excellent and a must do! Thanks for this Fabio! - the service of all the staff - everyone is just so helpful, kind and friendly - croissants on the door handle every morning, what’s not to love about this?! - hotel room is lovely and clean and perfect what we wanted. - it’s safe! Plus, the front door is always locked which you get the code for, so it feels super safe at all times. You must be mad if you don’t book this hotel!

Arome Hôtel is a lovely boutique hotel which is well located but on a quiet street. The price is more than reasonable and Fabio was more than helpful in making dinner reservations for us and letting us check in early. The room we had was on the small side but it had everything we needed including a table and two chairs and a small refrigerator. We opted for the breakfast program and we were happy with the selection and the quality of the breakfast. We also had a small coffee maker and tea pot. We were only two blocks from the sea and the boardwalk as well as the tram stop from the airport. Fabio gave us great directions for using the tram and it was only 1.5 Euro apiece. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Nice. It is not the Hyatt but it is quaint and clean and the service from Fabio made it feel like we were staying with a friend.,

This is a truly exceptional hotel in gorgeous Nice. Fabio is an absolutely fantastic host and a brilliant advocate/ guide for his town. He has thought of absolutely everything from the well appointed, carefully and tastefully designed room, to the well thought out advice (depending on your interest and physical capability...I was on a trip with my mum) on where to go and where to eat in Nice to make the most of your stay. From the minute, I got in touch with the hotel to book, he was warm, kind and so resourceful. He really made our stay very special in this stand out gem of an hotel. It is obvious that he really cares. The hotel is in a nice well located quiet neighbourhood between the train station and the promenade des Anglais (5 minutes walk from the Negresco and less than 4 minutes walk from the sea front). I will be back with my husband and will recommend to anyone staying in Nice.
