We stayed in 2 of the rooms at Le Dortoir and both were really great. The layout of each room is very well thought through, and the fixtures and fittings that have been used are a very high standard. Our first room (Masia) overlooked the central pedestrian street & we could see the sea in the near distance. This gave... more

My wife and I stayed in the Massai Suite at Le Dortoir for 2 days/nights and can’t wait to go back! The rooms are very modern, clean, spacious, and couldn’t be in a better location. The beds were comfortable, the couch in the sitting area was great, there's an espresso machine, balcony, large shower, a seperate tub and air conditioning.... more

Location is everything and this place is spot on! The streets below are closed to cars and filled with restaurants, cafes, boutique shoppes and luxury stores such as Louis Vuitton. You are a block or two away from everything: Place Massena, Cours Saleya Flower Market, the Promenade, etc. If you want to see more of the city (Palace, museums, etc.),... more

Many friends had recommended staying in a B&B or apartment when in Nice - rather than an overpriced hotel. Le Dortoir was top rated, and available - and very much looked the part for a trendy romantic getaway. Booked over the phone - thanks to the owners good English, and arrangements were made quickly and are easy to follow. It... more

This incredible 'Bed and Breakfast' on an achingly fashionable street in Central Nice delivers on every level. The suites themselves are beautifully finished with no expense spared and all amenities that you need for a trip, from air conditioning to fluffy white towels, hand delivered breakfast and limitless coffee, wide screen tvs and chic photography books. Simply by doing away... more

Hello just got home after 8 nights at this beautiful place. We landed early and called owner who met us at the apartments. Getting there was easy from the Airport on the 98 bus which was only 4 Euro a person and took about 20 minutes. You may have to stand though as buses can get busy. We got off... more

We stayed for 4 nights in the Longani suite. It is spacious, stylish and very comfortable. The location is central but also very quiet. Breakfast is good as is the servicing of the suite. Jean Bernard was a welcoming host and very helpful. We have already recommended Le Dortoir to friends and hope to go back again. The terrace would... more

This is a fabulous place to stay in Nice. I'd never been to Nice before but I can't imagine there's a better value place to stay in the city in such a good location. It's right in the centre of a pedestrianised area full of shops and restaurants. It's quite a touristy and overpriced area but everything is on your... more

We stayed here in mid-September at the beginning of our trip through the Cote d'Azur and Provence regions of southern France. My wife and I were traveling with a 17 month-old daughter which means a lot of gear. We read the reviews and noted that rooms are located on the 4th floor (what Americans call the 5th floor), but decided... more

We stayed at Le Doirtoir with four friends - so booked all three apartments - have no complaints whatsoever - from initial enquiry to staying. Excellent, central apartments. Verty quiet due to location on Rue Paradis (no traffic noise) Close to all Nice has to offer. Very tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Exceptionally clean. Owner very helpful. I would... more
