I've been meaning to write a review about this fantastic place for ages but keep forgetting. We stayed at the Les Mas Candille at the end of our honeymoon. After spending a few days in the hustle and bustle of paris this was a welcome break! I've never felt so relaxed in my life, so quiet and peaceful and in... more

This is a wonderful hotel, - expensive - but when two old friends are celebrating their 70th birthdays together, why not? However, "disabled room" is not quite what you would expect. Ground floor yes, approached through a door from the dining room onto a terrace which, in the summer, is divine but in the winter is definitely not. The room... more

This review is long overdue, but as I read other peoples reviews I just had to post my thoughts on this fabulous hotel. The grounds are perfect, the room was beautifully appointed with a nice mix of antiques. The bathroom was done in beautiful white carrera marble with great amenities, such as Molton Brown shampoo and conditioner. The food (we... more

I chose this hotel for my honeymoon after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. We paid 500 euros per night for a 4 night stay which included 2 dinners (the 6 course discovery menu) at the michelin starred restaurant and breakfast each morning. A little over priced but overall it was worth it. Our room was large and airy and... more

Hit the village Mougin thanks to a recommendation of a friend, but found the hotel by chance. Great accommodation with touch of luxury. Large rooms, beautiful outdoor pool with view into the French landscape. The hotel's gourmet restaurant is great, too. We had a really good 7-course dinner with fantastic wine. The only negative aspect is the old-fashioned style of... more

We recently spent four nights in Le Mas Candille, staying in one of their Deluxe queen rooms in the newer Bastide building overlooking the mountains and valleys. The hotel is situated high up in the hills of Mougins so we were delighted to be given a terrace with fantastic views of the valley below, but of course this view does... more

We stayed at Le Mas Candille for two nights in mid-March. Having read mostly favourable reviews of the hotel and restaurant, perhaps my expectations were inflated… While the experience was definitely not terrible, it was certainly not worth the hype nor the expense. There were some positives: the service was faultless (if lacking in flair), with the reception very efficient... more

I recently spent two two days in Mougins at Le Mas Candille finishing up my Cote D'azur holiday. I decided to stay in this particualr area as it is about 30 minutes from the Nice airport and wanted someplace special and relaxing (ie away from the hustle and bustle of Cannes which is a 15 minute drive from the hotel).... more

I brought my mother to the Mas Candille in late September/early October to celebrate her birthday and also because she has just recently lost a close family member. I was sure that the break there would do her good and it did. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the hillside of Grasse and not, as one reviewer wrote, overlooking the motorway.... more

Pretty hotel with spectacular views. We only stayed one night but received great service and a warm welcome. The restaurant was full so we ate in Mougins which was lovely. We would go back again for longer next time as being able to walk to the village albeit up a steep hill was a real bonus. more
