We stayed at the Narev as part of a coach holiday. The breakfasts were miserly and the standard of evening meals appalling. Our twin room comprised two camp beds or similar. Bathroom was good ,room clean and staff friendly.

Stayed here for 2 nights during the feb lemon festival. Location is excellent. Wifi only available in the lobby, not in rooms. Also no bbc world news or any English tv channels. Room was clean. Asked for a double bed but got two twins with a gap in the middle so could be a problem for honeymooners! Slight smell of... More

Travelled with 2 other couples for a long weekend. Good location. Parking was a bit of a job but we succeeded every time in getting a space. Couldn't use the hotel garage as the people carried we'd hired was too big to go in the car lift to the basement. Rooms basic - no hospitality tray as is the norm... More

Thisnplace look OK and is well located. BUT, it is the worst 2 star hotel in Menton. Uninterested people run the place. Rooms are as big as the bed. Kno place for a chair or yr luggage. One set of thinj towels for 2 people. Although we quite specifically asked for availability of A/C, we found this only technically to... More

Terrible hotel with terrible security. The reception insists that you keep your room key at reception every time you go out, however there is nobody at the desk after 9pm. Therefore, anybody wandering around the hotel can take your room key and get into your room while you're out as there is nobody to watch the keys. my friend and... More

We booked this end of last year and were told they only had two rooms left, which we didn't mind as it looked good on the web. What a dump, it may be two stars but it looks like a rundown b&b when you get there. The Menton tourist board will be getting a letter from us with the complaints... More

Stayed here between 3 and 7 times a year for 11 years - always in room 27 - the only room in the hotel with two balconies! Pascale Veran owns and runs Narevs and knows everything about Menton. The only reason we stopped staying at Narevs because we bought a house in menton. Narevs is a great small hotel, centrally... More
